It's so crazy that the year is already over. Such amazing things have happened. Built a new studio, created my very first merch, sold out multiple Distant shows, got to work on some amazing remixes and finally released some original music again. But man, it can it be stressful. It's still hard really enjoy all those beautiful moments when stress and anxiety get in the way. But I know that at the end of the day, it was all totally worth it and I can look back with pride and happiness to all those things I was able to do. Hopefully you can feel the same. To me, the warm and nostalgic vibe of this episode really fit the closing of such a year. I've also included the entire EP that is coming out the coming weeks. I hope you enjoy <3

I am trying a lot of new things that will hopefully translate into a better and more developed music experience. Looking forward to experience that together. What an incredible night filled with love and energy this was. Having DJ'ed for over 10 years, it was something of a dream to play 7 hours straight. To be able to touch on all sides of what makes me the artist I am, from ambient to 136 BPM trance... I can already say it will definitely not be the last time.

I find it incredibly fascinating how every single person has their own very unique taste, what to ourselves can sometimes feels like the absolute truth. I've recently gotten some different comments and messages about what I do, about my music or these episodes, and I truly respect that. I love getting feedback from you guys! I appreciate you all having my back down there in the comments, the support I get from you all is even heartwarming, but it's okay for people to have a different opinion. Each month I put together tracks that I've come across, that I personally like, and share them with you. My choices may be limited sometimes, so it's very likely it doesn't suit everyone's taste. And that's fine. I can make a Distant episode, that I feel like is the best I've ever made, but that doesn't mean you have to like it too. We all have our own taste in music, enjoy different things, that's what makes us unique. Please do not hesitate and share your thoughts with me, positive or negatieve, that’s what helps me grow. As long as we respect each other's taste, we'll make it work.
