Myself and Daly have been hanging out for longer than either of us would care to remember. myself and Keith (Disconaut)had him up from cork as a guest at our Sidewaze party in the very early 2000’s before he actually moved to Galway. he played that night with Sonny Emerald (from @NotHowWhen in cork), the lads tore the place up!! It still ranks in my top 3 parties we ever ran. 

We had been chatting early last year and in the months before ÉLG22 about doing something together at some stage before the end of the year. John had also been a regular guest at our One Night Love Affair(ONLA Galway)parties over the last few years but we’d never actually Djed together all night back to back. 

The ÉLG crew booked us both for separate sets on the Sunday of the festival, so it made perfect sense to us(and to the ÉLG crew)that we should go back to back and finish up the festival on the Sunday night. 

We were proper hyped for it, we drove out together and hung out for the full day before our set. I’d like to say we chatted loads in the weeks leading up to that day about what we would play… but we didn’t at all, we didn’t need to.

We know each others’ sound really well and we knew we were both similar enough and yet different enough to play a killer set and enjoy ourselves.  

What followed was 4 magical hours. daly and myself buzzing off each other and the lovely vibe from the dancers. we felt free to express ourselves, we went from house to disco to techno to loft classics and back.. It was such a blast.

It felt really special for us, a real privilege.
