Any rapper can put pen to paper and rhyme words to a beat. It takes an innovative artist with passion, and many talents, to become a lyrical genius and all-around legend. Recording Artist, Music Producer, Photographer, Graphic Design Artist, Creative Consultant, and occasional Master of Ceremonies, Rocstagis, is a versatile artist with a message for the masses. He was born and raised in Richmond, VA, and has been rapping since he was 7 years old. He earned the name "Rocstagis" by literally ROCking and murdering STAGeS during his performances, always bringing the hype and leaving the crowd wanting more! His lyrics are reflective of his experiences, values, passions, and cultural roots, and his beats bring that BOOM BOOM BAP... a combination of both Soul and Hip Hop. His lyricism, plus music production, make him The Legend keeping Hip-Hop alive in RVA. He has opened up for Hip Hop legend “AZ,” and has hosted many events, including the premiere of 9th Wonder’s short film. Rocstagis is also largely responsible for popularizing battle rap culture in RVA and has hosted several battle rap tournaments as well. In September 2016, he released "Rocstagis the Ep," receiving positive reviews and support from fans across the country. He is currently collaborating with a wide variety of artists in VA, for a project produced entirely by himself.
