Swimming Lessons

Here's a 22 minute long haha (OMG!) demo of some of my 80's/vintage Prophet/synth sounds made on the Prophet 12 synthesizer. It is only Prophet 12 where effects are used it is the internal delay.

Note! this is not a musical masterpiece just some twiddling.. :D

At Home In The Clouds

My attempt to synthesize / program Boards of Canada (BOC) -style sounds using DSI Prophet 12 digital / analog hybrid synthesizer. No preset sounds of the synthesizer were used, only my custom BOC-inspired sounds programmed from scratch. In addition, I used some sounds that I had recorded using a Zoom H1. I have been listening to BOC alot lately while walking in the nature, and truely enjoy their work and style. The cover photo is a front cover of an actual photo album from the 70's, purchased from Canada.

Whilst writing the score for Holy Ghost this Spring, Wall of Fire emerged. I had some time to clean it up and add depth and presence from the DSI Prophet 12 (and a few Moog patches as well). This is one of my favorite genres to write - electrocinematic. Close your eyes and let it take you away...

Midi synth music thing

A beautiful chord sequence played with a DX7 MIDI'ed up to a SCI Prophet12, then sampled, then played in a custom ROMpler with stereo Chorus and Reverb.

House Hang

some of the patches i've created for Dave Smith Instruments Prophet 12.  There's no treatment.  The bass drum is pretty massive, so i didn't track sounds in the lower register.
