Mefteh is a Berlin-based DJ and producer, originally from Tunisia. His sound blends raw, timeless, organic, and driving elements into a straight-up techno experience. With a deep passion for the underground scene, he has been shaping his craft for over 5 years, bringing an uncompromising energy to the dance floor. As a co-founder of the event series Demolate Berlin, Mefteh has played a key role in curating some of Berlin’s most intense techno nights. His productions, which he began sharing in late 2024, have already caught the attention of established labels, leading to releases on Different Sound, BCCO, HEISSS, Canticle Records, and more.

Mefteh is a Berlin-based DJ and producer originally from Tunisia. His sound blends raw, organic textures with a timeless and driving techno aesthetic. Over the past five years, he has honed a style that delivers uncompromising energy to the dance floor. As co-founder of the Demolate Berlin event series, Mefteh has helped shape some of the city’s most intense techno nights. Since sharing his first productions in late 2024, he has caught the attention of labels including Different Sound, BCCO, HEISSS, and Canticle Records.

This mix is built for the club – tribal and driving, with rolling drums, steady grooves, and playful twists designed to catch dancers off guard. It’s high-energy throughout, but always focused on the flow – a ride through the jungle.

BCCO Mix Series 623: Mefteh

The Berlin-based DJ and producer Bidoben’s sound merges the spiritual with the physical. Drawing on a lifelong relationship with music, beginning with instruments in his youth and evolving into textured electronic production; his work channels rhythm, emotion, and tension in equal measure.

With releases on Clergy, Truncate, and most recently Sublunar, Bidoben’s output leans into the hypnotic side of techno: deep, percussive and full of layered detail. His brand new EP “Torment” showcases this perfectly, moving from high-impact floor tools to more introspective sonic sketches, all rooted in a desire to evoke something beyond the surface.

Inspired by nature, film and the metaphysical, Bidoben brings a cinematic, almost meditative quality to the booth; crafting sets that are immersive, driving, and emotionally resonant.

For #258, he delivers a journey that blends precision with pulse. Techno designed to move both the body and the mind.

Rooted in techno’s pulse and aimed squarely at the dancefloor, USAW’s sound is as hypnotic as it is groovy. Decorated with shimmering melodic textures, they deliver performances that are emotional yet explosive. Their philosophy is simple: create a singular experience without ever losing the beat. 

Already no strangers to iconic stages like Berlin’s Tresor, they bring the same dynamic energy to this week’s podcast: a high-octane set recorded live at Slate in Milan on April 4th.

Co-founder of London’s FLINTA* label, event and mix series Technomate (@tm8.club), olesia brings powerhouse energy and initiative to everything they do. A strong advocate for diversity and queer representation, they reject rigid ideas around gender, sexuality and outdated norms within the music industry. As a DJ, olesia moves across different realms of electronic music, blending high-tempo, trance-inspired melodies with heavy kickdrums and trippy soundscapes, all held together with vibrant energy.

Recorded at home in London this summer, this mix takes a slower, grittier path than usual—moving through murky rhythms and rough-edged, distorted club sounds, with selections from some of their favourite produce

There are six marron tribes and each tribe has their own leader named Granman or Gaama. This leader is responsible to keep the marron traditions alive within the nation and is the highest respected man in the Gaan-lo. (marron tribe)

With this mix i've emphasized all the basics i find needed in my sets. 
Fast paced, groovy, edgy pound and mysterious hypnotic sounds on a consistent basis throughout the set.

This week we have DJ Hyperdrive stepping in for Ismcast.

The young Crude resident has been turning heads and moving bodies across Berlin and beyond with his full speed take on the new trance movement currently dominating the European electronic music scene. He has not held back at all for this mix which we are pleased to see, storming forward from the word go. This will be a good warm up for the weekend ahead of his gig at a secret party this weekend and his Synoid debut next weekend.
