Another month down in 2022 and the only constant is change! I've been selected to work in Phoenix, AZ for the next few months, so I'm taking the show on the road with me :) It's been a challenge to balance work, music and wedding prep but this has been such an amazing year so far and I've been craving new challenges to accelerate my personal growth so I got exactly what I've been hoping for.

DJANE ELELA [Dropland Recs] DE
Since 2008, Michaela aka Elela is one of the most talented djanes in Germany, one of the most important and active cores of psytrance in Europe. She starts her career as djane from the dust.
As a young girl, who was growing up in the 80's, she was inspired by synthie sounds, ebm and industrial and all the electronic music she finds around.
Her style is pure psytrance, powered by great skills and a intuitive and sharp sense to read and satisfy dance-floor warriors and party aliens. The sound of Elela is known as night fullon with a touch of psychedelic trance.

Since their very first Psytrance parties more than twenty years back 
in the days the Berliners Kevin Hentschel and Rafael Gomez never stopped 
experimenting with electronic sounds.
Alongside multiple excursions into various sub-genres, own label activities 
and many open-air and club events they concentrate since 2012 
on the production of driving Psychedelic Trance music and the two musicians 
re-invented their sound – and themselves – as “Atacama“.
Sometimes mysterious, always complex and preferencial driving Atacama 
carry off their listeners in spheres between by gone experiences and oncoming 
promises where myths and reality, rhythm and movement merge into a cosmic unity.
After some releases and further being a part of Digital Om Records, the guys had 
mindblowing experiences while playing large festivals all over the world – 
such as the Antaris, Fusion, Hadra, Mundo De Oz, Rainbow Serpent & Shankra, 
just to name a few.
Together with Iono Music from Berlin, they fully focus on producing new tracks and sounds.

SKYFALL stands for massive, driving Progressive grooves that take the dancefloor on a journey, a perfect balance between cybersonic soundscapes and human emotions. SKYFALL is the Progressive Trance project of Daniel Bernardo Aka MENOG / ATOMIZERS. Before becoming Portugal’s biggest Psytrance export Dani fell madly in love with music at an early age and studied guitar and drums, and then went onto perform regularly in a Heavy Metal band in the early 90’s. He was introduced to the underground Electronic Music scene in Portugal in 1995, with his first visit to the Boom Festival in 1998 inspiring him to start his own project MENOG. In 2002, Dani released his first album “Natural Behavior” as MENOG and has been rocking parties allover the globe ever since. In 2013 he decided to explore the more spaced and slower side of Psychedelic Trance and formed SKYFALL; the name inspired by his passion for skydiving. SKYFALL’s first EP “Higher Self” was released on Sourcecode Records, and shortly thereafter joined the Nano Records family and delivered a string of EPs, all of which charted in the Top 10 on Beatport.com. By May 2014 SKYFALL’s first album was ready for release on Nano Records. ‘Regenerate’ was a conceptual remix album of classic Psytrance tracks remixed by SKYFALL, and included the likes of “Reload” by Deedrah, “Vicious Cycles” from Astrix, “51” from Ace Ventura and Timelock, “Dustortion” from LOUD, and more. ‘Regenerate’ hit number one on both Beatport.com and the Psyshop.com charts. Following on the success of his first full-length releases Dani put together his first fully original collection of music, and in March 2015 Skyfall’s album “Fantasy is Part of Reality’ was released on Nano Records and it too hit the coveted number one spot on the Beatport TOP 100. As ever a musical chameleon, Dani continues to develop all his musical projects with flare and character, and continues to release mountains of amazing fresh music for his fans across the world.

Megapixel discovered electronic dance music in Western Australia where she was first introduced to psytrance in 2006. She immediately fell in love with the music and culture. She has always had a strong connection to music from a very young age playing the piano, flute and guitar so it was very natural for her to make the progression to DJing and immerse herself in this world. Megapixel played her first set in 2008 quickly becoming a dance floor favourite in Perth. She dedicated many hours developing her skills and started to hold events of her own. In 2011 she wanted to explore this further and made the move to Melbourne where she continued to grow.

Now after 16 years since her debut, Megapixel has established herself as a solid edition to any line up. She has played at some of the biggest dance floors in Australia at Rainbow Serpent Festival, Esoteric Festival, Earthcore Festival, Babylon Festival, Paradigm Festival, Earth Frequency Festival, Elements Festival, Wild Horses Festival, Dragon Dreaming Festival, just to name a few. With hard work and determination driving her forward she also gained popularity over seas playing main stage at Boom Festival in Portugal, Ozora Festival in Hungary, Sunshine Gathering in Japan, Gentenkaiki Festival in Japan, AgeHA in Japan and Dimension Festival in New Zealand.

Megapixel has become one of the most known and recognised Australian DJs in the global psytrance community. Her ability to mix her energetic style with the Japanese middle groove sound didn’t go unnoticed signing to Grasshopper Records in 2017. Preferring to keep her sets versatile she can be heard laying down funky and fun sets for the daytime, or a more serious, groovy and solid sound for the night time setting. With her passion and skill for DJing, she continues to make an impact and you can expect her floor shaking sets to take you on a captivating journey every time.
