For this first VA, we decided to focus on the meaning of our name “BLVSH”, which is for us the idea of blossoming, blooming, coming to life.

Half of the tracks are from our crew members, while the other half are from guests dear to us. Active members of the FLINTGA* scenes and communities in Switzerland, Germany and the Netherlands.

NARUD e.V. stands for "Network African Rural and Urban Development" and is a migrant-diasporic organization active since 2005.
The main goals of the association in Germany, especially Berlin, are the promotion and self-empowerment of people in the African-migrant communities, the communication of cultural values ​​of African societies, the processing of the colonial past and colonial continuities, as well as the opening for an intercultural dialog.

La Mer is a Cellist, Composer, Producer and Sound Designer based in The Netherlands. They combine their classical background with their love for synthy ethereal sounds to create immersive soundscapes. Ever since becoming physically disabled and unable to tour, they had to stop live DJing and are working from their home studio, making music, sound design for exhibitions, compositions for video games and live streaming.

From the digital depths - Marchesa Casati is the midnight apparition, the priestess of funk, she is the lady octopus with the seductive looks. Aboard her Milanese galleon, Casati commands the waves dressed perfectly nude beneath a fur cloak, guarded by three-tailed panthers on diamond-studded leashes. Accompanied by her merry band of disco buccaneers, the Mega Buff Squad sail the seven seas smuggling synthesisers by day and recording dope beats by night. This album is the sonic story of their famous voyage. Created multifariously with ill intent - Mega Buff represent.

Mega Buff is a community-based record label, radio, and event series with a funky reputation for slicing lemon fresh music with ill intent. High focus on supporting emerging artists from our local and outer vicinity, we flex with funk in the trunk, vitamic C, fluctuating tempos, Versace Buff merch sh*t, and  thick pheromone deodorant under the armpit - now let me kick it. In the lingua franca, “we ain’t no regular Berlin Casablanca.”
