Mega Emotion are the robe-wearing cult that build dense layers of sound looping both live and electronic drums against synths and scuzzy guitars.

They've won Steve Lamacq's roundtable, been playlisted across BBC 6 Music and supported the likes of Acid Mothers Temple, Shonen Knife, Yuck and Lonelady. They compare their sound to the likes of Metronomy, New Order, The Knife and Battles.

OK Maybe OK is the first in a series of new singles from Mega Emotion - ahead of their debut album, tentatively titled Move, Motherfucker.

The band’s self-released debut BRAINS won Steve Lamacq’s Roundtable on BBC 6 Music. Their demo material has also been play-listed as a 6 Music Recommends track of the week and they have been championed by both BBC Introducing and XFM.

The track is a howl of anguish and desperation against a slack, bouncing beat. There are walls of guitars. There are squelching basslines. There are headache-inducing drones. And there are, let us not be coy about this, cowbells.

It's almost the end of 2017. And if this year has been a soul crushing one for you, then Sick Burn is your new mantra. A mantra to pick yourself up, hug your friends, and tough out the vileness that life can throw you. 

It's been a difficult year for Mega Emotion's Jan, Lisa and Iain too. Facing illness, death and heartache, the friends (since school) turned up their instruments and wrote a slow-building hymn to friendship and optimism in a totally bleak world. 

Mega Emotion play drums and percussion over electronic beats and build walls of sound that loop dirty baselines against pumping synths and scuzzy guitars. They wear floor-length ceremonial robes, with faces dusted in glitter and stars swept through their hair.

Norwich trio Lady Di release the lead track from their debut album ‘I know You Know I’m Perfect’.

Lady Di are made up of Lisa Horton, Iain Ross and Jan Robertson – all former members of art-rock/indie-pop outfit Bearsuit (Fortuna Pop / Fantastic Plastic). They are also the alter egos of synth poppers Mega Emotion.

They play grungy dumb-ass punk, inspired by drunk summer nights and the likes of The Breeders, Urusei Yatsura and The Lemonheads.

Following early radio support from John Kennedy at Radio X and BBC Introducintg for their debut ‘AAAAAA’, the band are pleased to reveal ‘Peanut Cup’ as the lead track from their new album . It was recorded by Magoo’s Owen Turner in the wilds of Norfolk at Sickroom Studios in the middle of drinking beers and hanging by the pool in flannel shirts.
