@user-686053224: we can't exclude for sure that it isn't the main track; the photorealistic heart hole might be an element of flower dude figment's design (it could be on its chest). after all the pixels on it look like the image was photoshopped, moreover, flower dude's sprite was made by the same person that made ego's, meaning it'll probably be an image consisting of photoshopped parts (its head was shared, and it's indeed a png made out of stock petal images). not to mention, a figment doesn't have to be in the thumbnail for the track to be the main one; mus_fatality doesn't have the fiend in the thumbnail. i personally believe emptiness is the name of the figment and track, and am thinking that the area will be about the whole flowey backstory, his inability to love, his suicide, and the whole screwing around with saves and eventually seeing everybody as expendable npcs and the world as a game. flowey stuff overall too; papyrus' presence might tie well into this since he made him.

for something that cannot feel love, the way he looks over the grave of his former friend seems so... remorseful

This is probably my favorite rift variant. It's just so much more moving, and emotional then any other, despite it being chiptune only.

Interesting how this track is the only variant of rift where (I think) doesn't contain the hope leitmotif, at all.
