In late 2020, after Kolja had to stop working as an event manager he started producing his first own tracks under the alias DJ HYGGE. His first involvement in the world of electronic music began at an young age with working at small festivals to organizing parties in his home town Luneburg. After a long journey trough electronic music he has now found his very own style of Techno. With a various mix of straight forward Techno, Trance melodies & heavy Breaks he brings nonstop energy on the dancefloor.

Our second premiere of the week comes from rising Irish talent, Elliot. The Sync Galway boss man shy’s away from his usual formidable techno productions on this release and turns his head to well executed breakbeat euphoria.

Elliot has been emersed in dance music for a long time but his production journey began in November 2020. Since then Elliot’s has featured on labels such as Insane Industry, Speed, Sticky Ground and Wonderlust.

Elliot has also appeared on Podcast series such as Four Four Magazine, Prospekt, Envisage, Wonderlust, Speed and Express. His fast paced and raw industrial sound has carved a name for himself within the Irish techno scene.

Elliot is also the boss behind SYNC in Galway alongside fellow industrial affiliate Intruder. Since the re-opening of nightclubs in Ireland Sync have hosted acts such as Charlie sparks and Dahryl to date. 

‘Dreamscape’ was originally meant for an EP that fell apart and features samples from the likes of radiohead who were a big inspiration to Elliot during lockdown. The track is packed with dazzling synth lines and elating pads, the creative sampling within the track tie the whole project together. A five minute piece of heaven from Elliot.
