THE BRIDGE OF THE MAGPIES

It once happened in the Far East
the sad story of an arduous love
that still lasts since it never went out
that not even the sky could separate him

Princess Vega
he wove to his loom
colored tapestries
of sunrise and sunset
even the clouds pushed
 from the breath of the wind
they paused to admire his talent


It was on a summer evening that tired of work

and the mistake was imminent
in that apparent calm

an ox left to his fate
I enter the atrium of the building
and step by step
that the crime took place

the queen was angry
picked up a pin
and drew a line across the sky
along the river that ran alongside the palace
this gesture created a great and thunderous silver river in the sky
that the queen called the milky way
and it was thus that he separated the young lovers
on opposite banks of the river

Princess Vega cried from morning to evening
he resumed weaving his canvases

Altair resumed his pasture but I never play his flute again.

It then happens that the King
 pitied by his daughter's despair
decided that one day a year,
on the seventh day of the seventh month
if the princess would find a way
to cross that river
he could have met his beloved


The Weaver Princess
 he then called to his aid
all the magpies in the world
 who flew in from the earth and formed a bridge
across the vast and deep Silver River
jumped on their backs
across the milky way
and the seventh day of the seventh month passed
together with her beloved.
And this happened again, and then again and again it happens today
the two expect
convinced that it is worth it
and count the days in unison
to meet that day, every year

mCurtis a.k.a Emanouil Kourtikakis returns alongside with Himuro Yoshiteru, forming a new frenzy Sound project.
After a year of full music composition and sound generation by both artists, it is high time to present their first electronic music exploration.   
The  design of the sounds were on their analogue synthesizers and equipment, while the beats were sampled from classic hip hop sounds. Thus, you will find also a notably new degree of improvisational depth. 
The artists themselves call it as  a “story stemming from our neuron structure which creates a feeling in a moment of high intensive human interaction. A feeling that repels the entropy”. 
By now, it’s known that mCurtis had his master degree in Computer science and an extra specialization in pedagogy/education by using the latest programming tools. The music has always bug biting him to combine music with a scientific background while expressing himself. His curiosity for science and technology with the vast sonic and expressive potential of electronic music lead him the past decade to his productions.
Himuro Yoshiteru style is often described in the media as very playful. It consists of finely chopped, fast rhythms in combination with jazzy bass and synthesizer lines and 8bit sounds (like video game music). In this area he is one of the prominent Japanese musicians of this time.
Some of his pieces have been featured on John Peel´s Radio show on BBC Radio 1 and one was later released as an mp3 on the Tribute to John Peel Series, as a free download. 
Entropy’s Fall is available on September 24, 2021 for sale in digital download at the artist’s bandcamp pages and all mp3/wav retailers across the internet.

Just some feels after throwing myself under the metaphorical bus.... Again

Something Ventured Something Gained

Toronto producer Brad Weber, a.k.a. Coy Haste releases his third EP, Apicultura: an instrumental interpretation of a San folk origin story from the Kalahari Desert.
The scene is set by blending modern electronica production with 70s inspired afro synth, traditional percussive elements, bubblegum inspired bass, dubbed-out marimbas and chopped up rural folk recordings.

The opening track, ‘Mantis,’ introduces the protagonist with a chugging rhythm, mesmerizing melodies and psyched out, layered tones.

Track two, ‘West Plains,’ represents the raging waters of the flooding river –– the source of the mantis’s plight, which manifests as energetic, cascading rhythms.

Followed by the track, ‘Honeybee’ tells the story of our hero: the bee who selflessly weathers the perilous water to rescue the mantis through a pulsing composition of hopeful percussion and cautioning synth melodies.

Closing the EP with ‘Desert Flower,’ the epic journey ends with the exhausted bee resting the mantis on a floating desert flower. Before it dies, the bee plants a seed in the mantis which grows to be the first human. With contemplative percussive pacing and a crescendo of evolving synths, this is the soundtrack to the metamorphosis.

Israel is only the executioner, every nation which has armed that country in the past year is an accessory to that genocide, an accomplice, a facilitator.  We cannot talk about war crimes because when you target unarmed civilians, mostly women and children, we are talking about a massacre, like terrorists do, not a war. The people who orchestrated that massacre, in the US, the most duplicitous, followed by those of the UK, Germany, France, and probably a few lesser ones should be tried for crimes against humanity just as well as Netanyahu and his cabinet, because it has been going on for two years, generously reported by media of all kinds, so the enablers knew exactly how the arms were to be used, as a tool for revenge, domination, and humiliation of the Palestinian people.  The conflict has ceased to be about the defense of anything for months.

The parties responsible have made a mockery of decency, morals, fairness, proportion, or justice, not to mention empathy.  Of what little there was, these concepts will be a lot longer to come back than they were to be struck down.

I have not been able to recover access to my other account [https://soundcloud.com/ha-kekong] for a couple of years.  I have tried a few times to get back into it but SoundCloud doesn't trust me.  Same phone number, same email addresses, and they still claim that they can't verify my identity.  I created that account about three years ago as a substitute to my regular account which SoundCloud temporarily closed.  They closed it as part of some upgrade procedure in their system, the result of a bug that affected many accounts, about two years ago.  Since SC did not inform its users I didn't know if that was permanent or not, so I created that other account which I can't access. No it's not Gibraltar, but a little bit further West. ... Actually I checked recently and it is further North more than West, I thought I was facing South when in fact I probably was facing the Atlantic ocean, which is why I suppose the waves were of a decent size where we were.
