A song I wrote in devotion to Frigg the Allmother of the Norse gods and goddesses. I hope this small gesture honours her power, wisdom, gentleness and secrets even if only a little bit.

I felt like doing my own pagan version of O’ Holy Night by making it more solstice related but also not too specific regarding pagan paths. 
This song focuses on what’s going on currently in this world in particular. We don’t need to be saved, it’s us with the power.

As a Pagan I have missed Hymns , and felt an intense call to create pagan versions of popular Christmas carols.
This song incorporates the atmosphere of a cold winter farm, observing nature and being in awe by the presence of the gods around us.
It rained half way through recording on my skylight windows, and the timing felt so perfect so I kept it in.

The Sigdrifa prayer sung to a known hymn's tune 
To honour the return of the sun during the dark cold winter months.
