This is my first born-again album and i'm calling it: Goodbye RVA, Hello World. When i came up with this title, it just meant leaving RVA and going out into this world into other states and countries, like El Salvador which ive already been. But the meaning for the title is alot deeper. For me, it means saying goodbye to the old me and introducing my new self. I would have never pictured in a million years id be where i am now in my life and none of it was by my own doing. I know some people say im religious or whatever, but i am not and im far from it. I just believe in love and truth, and i found it truly comes from Christ. For more info or questions, come talk to ya boi. About the song:

I used to live off of Hull St. in between hicks road where the Koger is and the sheetz. The neighborhood is called Longwood Acres. And for the 4-5 years I lived there, we never had a streetlight, there are no streetlights there and I complained about this several times. And so our light was really the moon. And when it was a full moon, the neighborhood just lit up as if we did have streetlights. So I learned a fact that we have the greater light which is the sun and the lesser light which is the moon, but either way, there’s still light shining all thru out the day. So I internalized this. In high school, I really started to get depressed a lot. I didn’t call it depression but it still was happening. I wanted to be in the dark all the time to the point where I would put a bunch of bed sheets over my windows in my room so no light would enter in. In those times I felt the loneliest and just felt like a crap. And I don’t think smoking made any of this better. But one day I started believing and following Jesus and my life lit up and everything changed. And everything has been different from that point. and now, sometimes I still get depressed but now I know why and the remedy to these symptoms. And so now my heart is to live in the light and never lose sight of the light even during dark nights. bcuz its still there.
