Dj Inspecta : Jungle Alliance Recording /JungleX.ca /Ozore Age Pias / Piranha Rec. /Oxygen Record /Nothing To Scratch /Hipstep Zulu Massive.  

Inspecta hails from Marseille, France. Home of sun, sea and a diverse musical community. 
In 1996, Inspecta started producing Jungle which was well received in the Marseille 
underground scene,this developed to encompass all of France over the next few years. 
In 2002, Inspecta and DJ Ride launched themselves into production with a debut on Parisian
label OXYGEN RECS, this was greeted as "a very good start".

After establishing and forming his crew, 2003 saw Inspecta further develop himself as an artist
and DJ. Performing as a supporting artist for MOBY at The Dome, Marseille and at MARSATAC 
festival alongside MC JAMALSKI. This saw the begining of a national tour with dates in Nice,
Nantes, Rennes, Brest and Paris. After a year of weekly residency at Trolleybus alongside 
DJ PHRED (La Dame Noir), 2004 saw Inspecta take responsibility for the programming 
of the POULPASON.

Since then, he has regularly performed at numerous night clubs and festivals both in France 
and internationally. Including Czech Republic, Slovakia, Japan (Sleepy Eye Crew), Spain, 
Dominican Republic, Italy, Denmark, Belgium and many more. 
From 2000 to 2007, Inspecta collaborated with DJ KAFRA to organise the biggest Drum & Bass 
events in Marseille at Docks du Suds and l'espace julien and MARSATAC festival.

On the production side, Inspecta penned "LULLABY" featuring singer AIM-A which was released 
on the compilation entitled "LA OLA" mixed by PAUL BRISCO. Other artists featured were 
MARKY & PATIFE, KRUST, SUV and NINJA TUNE.Other examples are "HIPSTEPPIN",
a joint project with RIDE-ONE for MC JAMALSKI's album "RUFFNECKS REVENGE",
and a remix for WATCHACLAN on German label PIRAHNA.

In 2010 he features with DJ RIDE on the EP " DONDE ESTA LA DISCOTECA?" on JungleX.ca. 
Two other EP's followed on the Canadian label "WAIT FOR IT" with MC MELANIJANE (Full Cycle).
"VOODOO DEVIL DRUM", the acclaimed remix of "UNDER MI SENSI" and a remix for the French
band NASSER of the track "LA CHOSE" soon followed. In 2013, Inspecta collaborated with 
SWEETIE IRIE (Gorillaz, Congo Natty) on projects for the British label JUNGLE ALLIANCE
eleased in March 2015. More projects are on the horizon with these labels.

Inspecta is currently a part of Zulu Nation and is working on a collaborative project with RIDE ONE
a remix of "THE MESSAGE"  for Grandmaster Flash.

With his new crew NOTHING TO SCRATCH, Inspecta locks-in to a mix with only the hottest influences........
