A Winter In Porcelain Landscapes is a collection of work started in 2010 by Nico Bernard, in his beginnings on the DAW Reason and in a period of discovery of himself, search for identity and experimentation in his music, and a revolution in his way of apprehending it. Very influenced by the styles of experiential music he was listening to at the time, he composed this album while he was also training in stone sculpture and making his first work, a moon with two different faces.
His life was taking on meaning, and this album came to comfort him in all these changes.
Then more than 10 years passed and he decided to rework these projects to bring them up to date and mark a new rebirth that took place in his life in 2021.
Both glitchy and atmospheric, these tracks still have a lot of meaning for him.

Do The Do Dah

A melodic pop track narrated by a shy observer who keeps missing subtle signs of romantic interest. Playful yet wistful, the song captures the bittersweet humor of cluelessness and the hope for clearer signals. Male vocals convey warmth and vulnerability.

Invisible Flirtations

Space satire gospel song inspired by The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, filtered through existential clarity, poetic resistance, and moral urgency... because when a prolife-ped0-rap!st-daddy(*) glitter-turd kings controls the Galaxy of Murica, it is fair to consider the new rule number one may be DO PANIC NOW, heh? 

And please forgive my dystopian French! I have no further comment. I'll just be here "frenching them fries like freedom lies" (lol), clearing out my long songs backlog... wrapped in #irony  ✝ ✝ ✝   whoop whoop ;)
