Mehal  is a blues‑driven singer, songwriter, guitarist and experimental composer creating cinematic music for film and TV. Rooted in Celtic traditions and classic blues, his work blends soulful vocals, slide guitar and atmospheric textures with contemporary classical and ambient influences, making it ideal for drama, thriller, indie, documentary and character‑driven stories.
​His catalogue ranges from intimate acoustic songs to darker, groove‑based tracks and instrumental cues that sit comfortably in playlists alongside modern blues, neo‑classical, art‑rock and soundtrack music. Spiritual themes, human resilience and mysterious encounters run through many of his pieces, reflecting his Bahá’í faith and narrative approach to songwriting.

Stefan Bernauer began his music career in the early nineties as a guitarist and songwriter in several rock, blues, and jazz bands.

After experimenting with various genres, his passion for electronic music has remained.

In 2011 and 2012, he released his first tracks under the artist name herrB on some indie labels. 
In 2013, he met the artist Anne Clark, with whom he toured Europe in 2014-2019 and collaborated on various musical projects.

Following the successful EP releases *Fairytales from the Underground* and *LifeWires*, there will be no further collaborations with Anne Clark.

His new project will return to the realm of deep/dub techno.
