Lindley Heynes aka Linkris The Genius is a South African Rap artist born and bred on the Cape Flats, South Africa. He uses both the Afrikaans/Afrikaaps and English languages to paint vivid images to tell his story. He has been an activist for Coloured Human Rights for many years on many levels.
Linkris currently has music videos in rotation on major television networks such as: Kyknet, Kyknet&Kie, Channel O, MTV Base, Trace Africa and more. 
In 2017 he was nominated for "Best Afrikaans Rap Single" by the GHOEMA Music Awards.
In 2016 his song Game Change Gazi was #1 on the Hip hop top 20 charts on Good Hope FM.
In 2016 he toured The Netherlands and performed in: Utrecht, Amsterdam and Den Haag as part of the Afrovibes festival.
Linkris has performed nationally in South Africa at big festivals such as: KKNK, Hawston Sea festival, Suidooster Festival, African Hip hop Indaba and many more.
He has been a key component in piecing together and performing in Award-winning theater productions.
Linkris is currently the co-producer and co-host on South Africa's oldest and most highly decorated Hip hop radio show : HeadWarmaz Hip hop show. 
Linkris is also the organizer and host of a monthly Hip hop event titled: "Northern Lights Hip hop Nights" an event that is dedicated to being a platform for other upcoming as well as established Artists in South Africa.
