This month we'll celebrate our first festival floor, and its gonna be a big one! CTM Berlin will host a Disco Halal floor at YAAM on the 6.2.16
The lineup will feature our very own, @Moscoman, @Delfonic, @Autarkic and last but not least @spatzhabibi which done this magical!!! hour , if you are in town you should really come and listen to them

It's some time ago now, that SpatzHabibi were an insider tip shared only between a small number of well-informed audiophiles and music nerds. With probably the most multifarious vinyl collection in Berlin, the anglo-german duo quickly outgrew the local club scene and conquered festival dancefloors during the past summer. By incorperating their very own record label, they took the last missing step to have a strong influence on curation and cultivation of leftfield electronic music in Germany.

Get ready to get weird: we’re ringing in the new year with Daniel Baughman (@baughman), who first caught our eye at Dekmantel this summer. Alongside doing A&R at John Talabot's label, Hivern Discs, he also curates the line ups for Barcelona's audiophile listening bar Nica and is part of Magic Teapot Records. Phew, now you can tell why it took us so long to get a hold of him. 

As for the mix, expect the unexpected. Daniel’s known for his eclectic music choices, carving out his very own genre which defies definition. As the man himself says: best listened to without distractions — peace.

Do not want to sound exaggerating things, but this gig for me was the most enjoyable ever. One for the books. We all knew its the last one for a while, so everybody in the dancefloor including me gave it all that night, which got well into the day and finished at 3 AM daytime. After a long time (5-6 years??) i played only vinyls in the club, which for me is a special thing. My set took 9 hours - and its very very rare thing for me to play alone and so long at Smala party, which is usually dedicted to our favorite guests. But the most important thing was the athmosphere and the smiles of the people in the club, I rarely see this kind of unity and joy in the party. Thank you opiumofthepeople ❤️

In these 9 hours you'll hear favorite peaces from my vinyls, which I collect for more than 15 years. Total smala hits, old and new, just recently bought specially for this night, also records i never dared to play in the club. Gifts from my musican friends & peaces bought while travelling. In short - these records containt lots memories and energy in them. Let's start from the very first record I chose - it's the track "Enviroment" by Marc E - long time favorite producer of me. It's 5:30 in the morning...
