I am Koios The Ronin BeatMaker I have a certificate in Audio Production from Boston University. Since then I have been making music on and off for 11 years. My love for music has always been there since I was a child. Yet my personal insecurities and upbringing prevented me from fully embracing a dream of mine. It wasn’t until I discovered the artist Nujabes and listen to his song "Reflection Eternal" I found the strength and inspiration to peruse my love for music. My “personal legend” (Coelho). 

After suffering several defeats in a series of unfortunate events. For a time I had given up on music. Lost in the pit of depression and resistance. The universe reached out and conspired in my favor. I awoke one morning after a dream. An odyssey of reflection I would call it. I meditated on this dream and realize that the universe was reminding me not give up on my legend. To stay true to myself and that my outlook determines my reality. 

My Grandfather may he Rest In Peace was the reason for my love of music. As a young child he would constantly ask me what “type of instrument will you play” “What kind of music will you make”. As a child I never fully grasped his words but I always felt them in my bones. So I continue to work hard to accomplish my dreams in my grandfathers memory. In hopes to return home to the island of St. Croix. Rebuild my family home, support my family and spend the rest of my days making music.
