David Schenkel is a Melbourne based musician, who￼ writes and performs fingerstyle pieces, on the steel-string acoustic guitar. He employs a diverse range of styles in his playing, such as blues 'n' roots, rock, folk and gypsy. Many of Davids' pieces are written in an 'open chord tuning', that resonate with haunting colour and beauty. There are sections of powerful strumming, shimmering harmonics and jagged, percussive fret tapping. David has recorded two works, 'ARTI' in 2017, and 'DAVID SCHENKEL EP' in 2021
