The Lynch, "2b11" ismiyle 2004 yılında Ferhat Dünden ve Erhan Atasoy tarafından İstanbul'da kuruldu. Müziğin deneysel yanını kurcalamak isteyen ikili, uzun süre eleman aradı ideallerine uygun bir insan bulamadı. Yine de (ekonomik yetersizliklerine rağmen) amaçları uğruna besteler yapmaya devam ettiler. Zamanla psychedelic ve shoegaze akımlarına kapılıp rock müziğin arka bahçelerinde dolaşmayı tercih ettiler. 2015'de "2b11"ismi "The Lynch" olarak değiştirildi ve öyle devam etti. 

Grup "2b11" ismiyle on adet demo albüm,  "The Lynch" ismiyle de bir adet "The Sound Of Your Sigh" isimli EP kaydetti.

"Everything Ends" isimli ilk uzunçalarları 11 kasım 2018 tarihinde Robonima Records etiketiyle yayımlandı.

The Lynch was founded in 2004 by Ferhat Dünden and Erhan Atasoy under the name "2b11" in Istanbul. The duo, who wanted to experiment with the experimental side of the music, could not find a person suitable for their long-term ideals. Nevertheless, they continue to make compositions for their purposes (despite their economic inadequacies). They have been included to psychedelic and shoegaze currents and prefer to walk through the backyards of rock music. In 2015, The name "2b11" was changed to "The Lynch" and so on.

The band recorded ten demo albums under the name "2b11" and one EP called "The Lynch" named "The Sound Of Your Sigh".

The first LP named "Everything Ends" was released on 12 November 2018 by Robonima Records.
