Silent Angel started out as BlueBlood, a band founded by songwriter and guitarist, Eric 'Stormblade' Poon back in college in the late 90's. After recording a demo and doing a string of gigs they went on an indefinite hiatus, but Eric never did let go of his music.

In 2015, he gathered some musicians to work on his material from all those years ago. 5 songs from the mix were selected to record their debut EP, Descent of Angels.

The Descent of Angels has been circulating international radio (USA, UK, Canada, Italy, and Australia) and has been garnering lots of traffic and requests. The band has been featured on Kingston, Canada’s #1 indie radio station, Q108 and was voted the station’s top 50 most requested artist alongside rock and metal heavyweights Halestorm and Impelliterri for two consecutive years, 2015 and 2016.

It was only two years later that Silent Angel got into the studio to record their upcoming release: Unyielding, Unrelenting. This album will include Eric's early musings with the input of Arul and John that completely change the shape the sound of the band.

To kick start their pre-release, the band has flown to Japan to tour Osaka, Kyoto, Gifu and Shiga alongside Japanese Doom Metal band, Black Market. The band will commence a second tour to Japan with Power Metal heavyweights Seventh Son in November.

Since then, Silent Angel has been sponsored with the unique dark tones of the Prestige, Heritage Troubadour Electric Guitar and the all-solid-wood body, Lindsay Marcus, 911CF Acoustic Guitar.
