Eat Static -Holy Stone

Samhain (saʊ.ɪn/, or /ˈsaʊn/) is a Celtic harvest festival held on October 31–November 1-2-3. It was linked to festivals held around the same time in other Celtic cultures, and was popularised as the "Celtic New Year" From the late 19th century the date of Samhain was associated with the Catholic All Saints' Day (and later All Souls' Day) from at least the 8th century, and both the secular Gaelic and the Catholic liturgical festival have influenced the secular customs now connected with Halloween.

The medieval Goidelic festival of Samhain marked the end of the harvest, the end of the "lighter half" of the year and beginning of the "darker half". It was celebrated over the course of several days and had some elements of a Festival of the Dead and Rebirth. Bonfires played a large part in the festivities. People and their livestock would often walk between two bonfires as a cleansing ritual, and the bones of slaughtered livestock were cast into its flames.

The celebration of New Year itself may have taken place during the 'three nights of Samonios' (Gaulish trinux[tion] samo[nii]), the beginning of the lunar cycle which fell nearest to the midpoint between the autumnal equinox and the winter solstice. The lunations marking the middle of each half-year may also have been marked by specific festivals.

Astrix - Trance For Nations///010 [Free Download]


From 1995 into mixing different genres of electronic music on vinyl 7 years, then during travels in Australia influenced by his gathered experiences at parties, he started to almost uniquely play psytrance – and this is what he has been doing ever since. This passion for psychedelic trance was the setting stone for his involvement in the German based plasmamusic & Schmox-Family project, the Italian label “Fabula Records” and the founding of his own “Dreamtime Productions” organization in Romania. 
He has continued to explore all faces and tempos of trance and now mostly plays unique dark progressive and forest sets with a mystic touch in the nights or funky in daytime! Since 2011 he has officially joined the Brazilian label “Uroboros”. 
In the last 15 years he has been able to travel and play at many festivals and parties in countless country’s all over the world. Some of the most influential amongst them were Universo Paralello & EcoArt in Brazil, Exodus in Australia, Solar Eclipse Festival in Turkey, Elixiria in Finland and the BOOM Festival after-party named Utopia in Portugal. 
Further he organized & supported many different events in Romania where he also resides at the moment. He is also the founder and main organizer of the Transylvania-Calling Festival which is held regular since 2004 in the Romanian region called Transylvania.

Logiztik Sounds is the alter ego for Nicolas Silvano, a South American DJ and producer who has released on infamous labels such as Global Underground, Traum, Vapour, Sprout and Sasha’s prestigious emFire label, to name a few.

He has made his debut on the Dutch Manual Music label last year with the release of his ‘Marioneta’ single, shortly followed by a remix for Qbical and more recently ‘Illumine’, the first single from his debut album ‘Metamorphosis’.

As a key player in today’s dance music world, his music can not be pigeonholed in just one genre. This becomes evident with his collaborations and remixes involving artists such as Underworld, Sasha, Nick Warren, Max Cooper, Nick Muir, D-Nox & Beckers, Jeff Bennett, Dousk, Eelke Kleijn, Quivver and many others.

On ‘Metamorphosis’ Logiztik Sounds explores the boundaries of melodic techno with a progressive twist, alternated with a couple of delightful downtempo moments of relative ease, only to switch back full force to something more boombastic and ‘in your face’ every now and then.
