For the deep listeners, Hasvat Informant crafts a dark and delicate techno experience. Based in Naarm/Melbourne, the producer and DJ draws dancers into intricate rhythmic worlds, thriving in intimate club settings where he can lose himself in the booth and the dance floor. With a background as a sound and light technician, his sets are a homage to immersive dance floor moments and formative teen club experiences. A self-taught artist and a regular on Amniote Editions, Hasvat Informant begins each track by exploring a distinct timbre, anchoring his productions in sonic discovery. Now, he expands his creative horizons, venturing beyond rigid bounds of genre, all whilst balancing studio time with local and international performances.

Gloria Rose. A name as unassuming as the humble stature that makes up the person. But take care - a leopard’s prey rarely knows it’s the target before it’s being stripped apart. 

For the artist has been steadily turning into a tour-de-force both here in London and increasingly on the continent too. Sultry techno & alluring grooves lure those in their midst into a false sense of security, before she pounces, snaring her target with a level of drive & prowess that instantly commands the dance floor. At that point all you can do is enjoy the ride, powerless, at her mercy, the only destination is her own.

For the May edition of the Fast Forward Audio Series, we present: Nuir

Nuir is a self-taught producer and DJ based in Paris, known for her boundary-pushing approach to electronic music. Drawing inspiration from a rich electronic music culture that spans IDM, trance, techno, and the free party scene, Nuir has carved out a unique sonic identity.

She made her debut as a producer on Mama Told Ya and has since continued to push boundaries with her sound, releasing music on labels such as Maison Close, Ghetec, and, most recently, TM8.

Rooted in Parisian club culture and the French free party movement, Nuir has performed across numerous European cities, including Copenhagen, Bristol, and Yerevan.

Her music has received support from internationally recognized artists, including Mama Snake and Anetha, affirming her growing influence and fearless ability to merge hardware, software, vocals, and live instrumentation into a singular, evolving sound.

About the mix:
This one-hour mix embodies what I seek during this challenging time we are facing — a sonic space for both release and reflection. Deeply connected to the culture that has shaped my identity, I am now driven to contribute to this vision: music as a powerful political and emotional force, creating a space where everyone can freely express themselves.
I wanted the mix to reach both emotional depths and euphoric highs — blending deep introspection with high-energy club sounds. It's about connection through contrast, and the healing power of dance.

Fast Forward Audio Series #109 - Nuir

Live recording of my opening set for Unfold XC, New Years Day 2025. 

Waking from a world of hazy dreams she flows among landscapes of consciousness, following the very instincts of her primal nature, yielding to in a dance already lost to time itself... 

With less than a week before the well anticipated 100th Unfold, I revisit my opening set from one of the last extended editions, the 90th Unfold back on New Years Day. Every Unfold is an honour to play, but kicking off the first Unfold of the year was a special one for me, and seemed to spark 
the threads of an already gorgeous year. 

Extended Unfold's are a beast of nature. The opening set always sets the tone for an event and for one such as this it was integral to approach this task with grace and consideration. This one is naturally very differen to my typical sound. She takes her time to build the floor, weaving between trance and techno from 125 to 140 over the duration of 2 beautiful hours.

A shining star and an icon of our scene, Amphia is a TC regular. With a signature style that embodies the SXC sounds we crave to provide, Amphia has appeared at just about every iconic promotion or venue in London, and is now taking on the global stage with frequent gigs in countries such as Spain and Berlin.
