The first single from his forthcoming release ‘Asbestos Free Cereal’ (Premiering now on Nu Kvlture) perfectly encapsulates the depth and intrigue found in his productions.

Redwood’s favourite prodigal son Liam K. Swiggs is a bonafide local Ōtautahi Lad who loves watching a bit of Rugby League, slamming back a box of Haägen's and ripping a few cones; And when he’s not out keeping the streets safe on Redwood Patrol - He curates the Independent Belfast Based Record label; The Big Fresh Collective.

With a longtime love for student radio and the influence from his parents he formed his taste for music as he dived through boxes of records in his local store, growing up surrounded by Indie Alternative vibes from his Dad Neil & Mother Bronwyn Swiggs, starting off his own journey with a healthy obsession for hip hop, followed by the angsty teen death & black metal years, channeling his aggression back into some hardcore punk, back towards hip hop and eventually winding up in the world of Ghetto Technical Electronic Music.

This mix represents a killer sidestep for Liam K. Swiggs showcasing some of his favourite non footwork/juke music from past, present & future at his native 160BPM tempo - Littered with unreleased tracks and unearthed classics this mix packs a punch like a front rower running off the back fence - Yummy!

This week we’re switching up the sounds and have stepped back into the dark side with a gritty guest mix from big man @buckley_uk 🌗

Buckley is up there with our favourite heads from the 140 scene. His productions epitomise what we love about the deeper side of dubstep; clean, raw, minimal and packing the biggest of punches 🥊 

His releases with our guys @northside.uk get spun every time we blend the heavy stuff, absolutely check those out on their socials.

Up until fairly recently, Buckley was firmly planted in the drum & bass world, but has moved to a more slowed down and eclectic direction. 

His SOLITUDE guest mix fully demonstrates the shift. He’s smashed it on the 100-140bpm, with loads of different genres & tempos inside. It gets real murky so buckle in for some wobbles, OG grime beats and of course a shit load of unreleased tunes. THIS GUY even threw in Giggs & Skepta - Look Out. Absolute British anthem hold tight the 2009 “know every bar of that track” heads 🇬🇧 

Buckley runs a show on @subtleradio every 4th Wednesday of the month focusing on everything 140 with a different guest each time, showcasing the sounds of the North 🫶

He’s also got more releases due this year, with a couple of 140 eps over the next few months and some more 140 and breaksy/garagey stuff later on

He dropped a tune YESTERDAY on @outhousesounds and is running an event next month with @enyoevents, a  brand he co-runs, with @bluetoof__ and @lalune____ headlining.
