Fango Radio is back and we're too with our lovely guest Vicky Zissou.
She is a Berlin-based electronic music composer. During her life in Sweden, she started to experiment with sound design and Djing.  Quickly she became an essential part of the Swedish Techno Underground Scene. In her ambient sets, she favours the ethereal, rhythmic & tribalistic side, which is stimulating the mind + body and catching the soul. Inspired by nature, Vicky transmits with her music a call to connect again with yourself, nature and spirituality.

This EP is a whole sensory experience in itself. If you close your eyes and let yourself go, a vast desert - as far as the eye can see - will present itself.

The first track, Atacama, is led by a rhythm which takes form in the low frequencies. A few sounds appear, of which the origins are unknown, to mix themselves into this sonic retranscription of a walk in the world's most arid environment. 

Mercury then follows, beginning in a contemplative way with deep synth layers, before gradually increasing in intensity through a sequence of hypnotic sounds. Each note is witness to a tumultuous environment. 

Biocym's remix takes you even deeper into a realm. Entrancing, almost seductive, this take on Mercury shows you the darker side of the desert.

Tatooine, defined by its pure bass and sprinkled with de-structured and luminous sounds, feels like a musical hush, putting an end to the tornado of emotions experienced until now.

We are pleased to welcome Nina (alias иιиιт'α) based near Denver. She experienced the age of the early 90s rave scene and has been  influenced by the deep and atmospheric sounds of Techno and most things unconventional. Although she can at times go dark and heavy, here she tends to draw a travel with passages of polyrhythmic sounds, D&B, UK breaks, shamanic vocals…  Her inspiration is drawing from older tracks of her collection and eclectic sounds with wide variation of Bpm and energy.
