2021 has been a year of many ups and downs, but we were pushing to end on a high note. 
Feral - of Hypnus alumni - helms our third podcast, and we are honored to have him. This hour is a uniquely crafted contribution of spaced out deepness, on a level of storytelling quality you've come to expect from the Aube Rouge head honcho.

Organized by Melifera since 2016, La Vallée Électrique festival is an event that unites a vibrant community around electrifying music and visual installations. This utopian haven is a creative space based on three concepts: human beings, nature, and technology

_A few memories from ELA about our festival La Vallée Électrique 2023:

"La Vallée Électrique has been one of my most epic days, play there surrounded by beautiful people, in that beautiful paradise full of nature. It was one of the wonders that has happened to me ✨

This festival is totally to regenerate your energies.
I already knew the Vallee, because I was there in 2022 and I had fallen in love with its vibe, the people, the music.
Therefore, what I had prepared was something like music for a party with friends, because that is what this beautiful festival has always generated in me.

The wonderful thing about this location, surrounded by rivers and butterflies, makes you want it to never end. In fact, it went by quickly, and I didn't want to go back to Milan. Waking up to the sound of the river was magical and relaxing.
I think this is a super positive effect.

Thank you LVE for having me, it was an honor ❤️‍🔥"

Solarythm - Skogsspråk

Unsur is like a rite of passage, a symbol engraved in desert sand. Four tracks, each inspired by an element, like fragments of an ancient language reawakened by technology.

This EP’s origin lies at the heart of La Vallée Électrique festival. There, in the intoxicating heat, within a community transcended by dance, music revealed itself as a ritual, a passageway to a sensory elsewhere. Unsur bears the imprint of this dialogue between machines and a forgotten world, where psychedelia becomes an experience and mysticism a texture. 

This language finds a natural echo in Gaspard Polar, who has travelled through these sonic lands and whose vision is sculpted from the same collective energy. By reinterpreting one of these fragments, his remix slows down the cadence, as if to better reveal the tribal pulsations that resonated beneath the festival's vibrant canopy.

PREMIERE: Solarythm - Orée [murmurs]

It all starts with a discrete, almost instinctive percussive motif.
A loop that breathes, stretches, transforms itself without ever breaking the thread. Around it, the textures slowly take shape: a pad like a held breath, then sound fragments - glitches, interference, tension - that disturb the surface.

With the track Wadis, Biocym composes a shifting landscape where structure is never imposed but suggested, leaving each element to find its place over time. The modular sounds created in VCV Rack gradually infiltrate the sound space, creating a fragile dialogue between calm and disturbance. The result is a subtle tension of unstable equilibrium and rhythmic hypnosis.

Wadis Variations extends this spell through four singular rereadings by Piante Vive, Sauvage Dub Trio and Arto. Each artist takes ownership of the raw material, transforming it to reveal new forms: a deeper pulse, a wider space, an unexpected vertigo.

An EP like an oasis in mutation, where each variation reveals a new facet of sound material.

Nocturnal Squall was conceived just after the intensity of the La Vallée Électrique festival. In three tracks, Nawl, an artist from Lyon, distils the energy of the night, the poetry of the winds, and the force of a dancing storm.

This EP offers a range of styles that grow in intensity, reflecting his experience during the event, the story of a metamorphosis, when humans become Mistral.
Martin Nonstactic's remix unfolds a new dimension, awakening unexpected and emotional sounds.
