DEEP ATMOSPHERIC TECHNO

The following podcast is quite special for our series as it is surprisingly the first guestmix delivered by a DJ, coming from the Czech scene. Based in Brno, Mikuláš aka Kosmic Skaut, is a core member of the ÉTER collective, Radio Isolate, and the founder of the upcoming Festival Michalský Výpad.

As a passionate record collector, Kosmic Skaut excels in combining downbeat trance-y beats and trippy electro chants. For this occasion, he blew away the dust from his back collection and recorded the mix. And he did just great.

Since 2018 @dycide and the @iorecs collective have amassed an impressive catalogue of immersive techno with notable releases from MTRL, Epsilon and Polygonia (who appeared on Inchmix053).
Dycide’s production always returns to the theme of escapism and for Inchmix073 he weaves together a restrained, yet pulsating narrative exploring hypnotic structures and percussive patterns .

Medha [PVC | Leipzig, Germany]

Medha's passion for technoid music is characterised by her constant search for inspiration and new tracks, which she brings together in her mixes with a mixture of intuition and thought. Influenced by the Berlin and Leipzig club scene, especially the Institut für Zukunft, she developed her own way to express her passion. Her sound is characterised by concise basslines and rougher elements on the one hand, but also by deep and driving rhythms and repetitive sounds, creating an endless drive that always aims to make the listener dance. She has been an integral part of the PVC collective for over two years and organises events herself.

Based in Bucharest, Romania, Vlad is a DJ / Producer with a unique style. Today, he contributed with a beautiful and carefully crafted selection with organic elements, tribal percussions & dub textures.

‘’ As everything has its initial cause in sound, it all starts in silence and also ends with silence, as a way to put the lower aspects of mind and emotions aside and try to flow with her rhythm and mystery. It’s a constant state of tuning in to the one sacred primal sound current, that offers infinite possibilities to crystallize it into temporary comprehensible forms. So we can use it in both ways, also as a method to dissolve and bring us from what is temporary, to the original condition of eternal supreme peace and joy. ‘’

For our fourth podcast we welcome Adhémar. A very talented French artist whose work you'll have heard on Oslated and Aarden records.

Please read his note :) 

"This recording is an invitation to relax  and relieve any tensions. 
You can follow the instructions below. 
Stay in Shavasana for as long as you want - let go !
Lie flat on the back with the arms about 15 cm away from the body, palms facing upward.
A thin pillow or folded cloth may be placed behind the head to prevent discomfort. A rolled up blanket can be placed under the knees, heels still touching the ground, to relieve low back tension. 
Let the fingers curl up slightly.
Move the feet slightly apart to a comfortable position and close the eyes.
The head and spine should be in a straight line.
Make sure the head does not fall to one side or the other.
Relax the whole body and stop all physical movement. 
Become aware of the natural breath and allow it to become rhythmic and relaxed".
