Melika was born and raised in Birmingham, UK and has been playing the violin since the tender age of 4!! After finishing a degree in Music at Wolverhampton University she began to embark on her career as a violinist and also a teacher of music with a PGCE in secondary Music from the Open University.

Playing, composing and recording music of different genres from Classical to Reggae, Gospel and Rock Melika has toured Holland, Switzerland, Paris and Miami, Florida. Melika has played with orchestras which includes Central England Ensemble and  Birmingham Philharmonic Orchestra. Melika has performed at various events over the UK as part of a string quartet and as a solo violinist and with a selection of bands. Melika has received multiple awards for her performances and contribution to the music industry and has plans to record another EP featuring her original compositions.

Making music is her passion, and combined with her appreciation of fashion and art, Melika delivers powerful, impacting performances which are unique, stylish, edgy and full of creativity deep from the within her soul.
