Recorded this during a lifetime low, following the loss of my dad. It still seems to hint at some kind of transcendence when I listen to it. The only new track featured on the compilation album 'Electrospective'. Released on Soma Records in March 2011.
Trivia: Produced in Reason & Ableton Live, with some added analogue warmth from my trusty Moog Source for the sustained bass build up.

Still Falling In Love

Mel Keller is a Singer/Songwriter from Switzerland. Her dreamy vocals, accompanied by her gentle guitar playing draws you into her very own and unique soundscape of melancholic romance. Her Lyrics have the ability to bring tears to your eyes as she captures the raw and genuine moments in life as a young adult. Keller's indie pop melodies and hooks draw comparisons to artists like Gracie Abrams, Lizzy McAlpine, Daughter, and Phoebe Bridgers. Overall, Keller's music can be described as a sad story that is delightful to read.

Keller was born in 1996 and grew up in a small village in Switzerland. She began playing drums at the age of 9 through her local music school, which set her dream and desire to one day pursue a musical path.

When Keller turned 19, she was gifted an acoustic guitar. She started teaching herself some basic chords and began singing covers of her favourite songs together with her cousins every time they'd visit her. 

In 2017, after having lived in Switzerland and England, Keller’s journey eventually led her to Sydney, Australia, where she ended up living and studying for three years. It was during those years, Keller, at the age of 22, started her journey as a Singer/Songwriter.

Upon discovering her talent for songwriting in Sydney, Keller stopped playing drums and fully committed to her new found passion for writing songs.

In the summer of 2020, Keller left Australia and moved back to Switzerland where she released her first Single ‘Still Falling In Love’ and shortly after, her first EP ‘Rain’. After the release of ‘Rain’, Keller released one more single ‘Less A Mess’, which she wrote and recorded in one day during lockdown. At that time, Keller felt inspired to quit her job and moved to the mountains for the winter 21/22, where she started writing new songs and applied for a music school in Berlin.

In the summer of 2022 Keller released a new single ‘Running’ and her second EP ‘Nightmare House’ which involves topics of anxiety, loneliness, and falling for someone.

Keller ended up receiving an offer from the music school and is now, since September 2023, studying Songwriting at BIMM Berlin.

Mel Keller is currently working on new songs she’s hoping to share with the world soon.
