Ewan, also known as E.Alexander, is the founder of Mui Mui Records, established in 2021. This venture has been a long-time dream of mine, and I am thoroughly enjoying the experience.

I am blessed with two beautiful daughters, aged 4 and nearly 3 months. Their mother is of British-Chinese descent, and we communicate with them in both English and Cantonese. The name "Mui Mui" holds special significance for us, as it means "little girl" or "little sister" in Cantonese. It serves as a tribute to our family and the love we share.

Exciting things are on the horizon, with a plethora of amazing music set to be released very soon. Keep an eye out for MUIMUI 003, which will be available in August. Additionally, we will be commemorating our second anniversary at Star Lane Pizza Bar on August 6th. It's going to be a fantastic celebration!


Ewan has a rich history in the party scene, having organized events in both Edinburgh and London. Throughout the years, I have been fortunate to secure numerous residencies in both locations. Notably, I have had the privilege of playing guest slots at renowned venues such as fabric, Lion & Lamb, The Cause, and 93 Feet East, among many others.

My journey has taken me to incredible events and destinations. I had the opportunity to participate in Off Sonar parties several years ago, and I even experienced the unique and vibrant atmosphere of Burning Man in 2014. These experiences have shaped my musical career and have been instrumental in my growth as an artist.

This recording comes from the early hours of Monday morning at SASH, at Home Nightclub, overlooking Darling Harbour on Sydney's foreshore.

With Jay Tripwire playing next door in the terrace, soon followed by Dyed Soundorom and Lamache, the club was heaving. Our residents Ufday, Czed and Ryan Kabaara took control of the den for 3 hours as the sun began to rise.
