On his second single with producer BP, Queensbridge rap legend Tragedy Khadafi airs out his beef with Marley Marl and vividly details how it all unfolded on “Story Never Told.”

Trag sets the tone over BP’s raw and dusty instrumental about the time that he and his idol were on a road trip from Queensbridge to DC. It was during this trip where he first dropped the idea of getting behind a young talented group of emcees he wanted to call the Lords of the Underground. Marl seemed dismissive, though it may have all been a front.

You see, when Trag got back to Queens after a trip to the West Coast, he found that LOTUG had formed as Marl’s “own idea.” Not only that, but as Trag explains on the 2nd verse, he was the only guest artist not featured on the artwork for Marl’s ‘88 release, 'In Control'—despite the fact Trag appeared on two singles (under his former moniker, Percy Tragedy).

With this all in mind, you’d think Trag would be salty, right? Nah. As he spits so eloquently about all the drama, “On the flip side, it only really boost my strength/ Gave me more confidence so I could go the whole length/ For my mentor to take an idea from me/ Only means my vision is that of impeccable G.” 

“Story Never Told” is the 2nd instant grat track off 'Immortal Titans,' which is available now for pre-order on CD and vinyl, and through iTunes, Amazon Music, Bandcamp and Google Play. The 14 track LP boasts guest appearances from Nature, Apathy, SmooVth, Rosewood, Hus Kingpin, Ali Vegas and more, and is set to drop Friday, August 17th via Common Virtue Records.

Detroit producer Apollo Brown has made a name for himself as one of Hip-Hop’s most legendary new producers while maintaining a golden era sound.  His production credits are a who’s who of Hip-hop greats from Danny Brown to Ghostface Killah, Ras Kass to Westside Gunn. Even Chance the Rapper used a pair of Apollo beats on his debut mixtapes.  Known for bringing the best out of musicians, Apollo has a knack for making timeless classics.

Brooklyn’s Joell Ortiz started on none other than Dr. Dre’s Aftermath label and built a huge buzz in the industry.  He’s worked with legends like Just Blaze among others. He then signed to Shady Records as ¼ of the supergroup Slaughterhouse. He’s worked with Hip-Hop titans Eminem, Busta Rhymes, Jadakiss, Akon, and Big Daddy Kane. 

Now the pair of Hip-hop luminaries have their first collaborative album on Mello Music Group. It’s nothing short of a masterpiece: Mona Lisa.

Nearly 20 years after dropping classic material together, Seed & Nottz are back at it with a fiery new single, “The Devil’s In The White House,” aimed squarely at, well, the devil currently residing in the White House. It’s also the first official single that we’re hearing from their forthcoming collaborative album, 'No Way In Hell.'

For those unfamiliar, TDITWH is a welcome (re)introduction to one of Hip-Hop’s most unique and talented voices. Hailing from Brooklyn, NY, Seed (a/k/a The Bad Seed) made a major splash in the late ‘90s with several joints produced by a then-burgeoning Nottz. And even though it’s taken years for them to get back together, they clearly haven’t lost a step.

The single offers a searing look at the corruption and bullsh*t currently playing out in the U.S., and it’s set to a thunderous, looping instrumental from the VA beatsmith. And funny enough, Seed said that another track on the album, “Bad Mood,” was actually set to be the single. But the rapper went with TDITWH because, well…“Trump just kept whylin.” That's definitely putting it lightly.

“The Devil’s In The White House” is available now for stream and download through all major DSPs, and can be purchased for Instant Grat off the iTunes’ pre-order of for 'No Way in Hell.' The ten track LP boasts guests appearances from Rock (Heltah Skeltah), Sauce Money, Napsndreds, Tiye Phoenix and DJ Total Eclipse (X-Ecutioners), and is set to drop on Friday, Sept 28 via Crisis Center Collective.
