More than one year ago, the exceptionally gifted and consummate musician Thomas Scholz veered away from familiar analog territory and took his first steps into the world of electronic music with his 'Auto biographical TUNEs'.

He might have left Metal Hardcore behind, but not his talent, voice or his ability on both the guitar and piano! Completely the opposite, he has been able to raise the bar and has been actively creating unique pieces with a one of a kind character - inspired by life and transposed into melodies and lyrics.

It is not surprising that his talent was quickly discovered, and collaborations with Patty Kay, rampue, LOCO (to name a few) were set in motion.
His current work together with Stefan Trummer leads us to hope for a release of their long-planned album.

Thomas' joint effort with Mono & Joel, released by Oliver Schories label 'der turnbeutel', and has been well-received, causing our expectations of this young musician living in Leipzig to grow.
Justifiably so! Thomas Scholz is currently working on releasing his first solo-EP. 'asle-ep' is slated to appear under the label O*RS and includes distinctive original songs and fantastic remixes.

'I break free' showcases the unbelievable versatility of Thomas Scholz's musical ability. Using dreamy, classical melodies paired harmoniously with vocals mostly heard throughout the metal genre, this song best represents this indefinable talent's bold rise.

Through it's memorable composition, 'Mimesis' (Ancient Greek: mimic, imitate) achieves an indescribable affect on both the listener's ears and reason which can only be attributed to the tracks fascinating sound.
Literal mimicry is not what this track is about, as it is one of a kind.

O*RS presents the first Solo Ep from Thomas Scholz,and includes distinctive original songs and fantastic remixes.

The remixes of these tracks by Filburt, rampue and Powel promise to be an acoustic cornucopia, also. And as though that wasn't enough, Thomas Scholz together with his good friend and musician from Leipzig iami give us musical caresses with 'Cafuné'. Appearing as a bonus track on the EP, it is a compelling conclusion to his first album.

Staying true to one's signature style, but at the same time re-inventing oneself again and again and again: A serious dilemma for many artists. However, it's not for Dole & Kom. Their Salto Mortale EP comes with three productions that are similar yet very different to each other in a fascinating way. The similarity is very sublime, as it seems like pressure and forward thrust evolve out of the context rather than prominent rhythms and sounds. Whereas the atmospheres of the tracks differ greatly. Salto Mortale is based on a voluminous bass line around which delirious melodies materialize from a vortex of sound. Silence comes with symphonic grace and big emotions. When the melancholic beauty of a female voice joins in the whole thing turns into pure epicness. Then again theres Fly Bar which draws its perfidious catchiness from a smart mix of high-octane club grooves and a high amount of sophisticated musicality. Since Anna's huge success with 'Where Are You Now' last october a lot has changed in her live. Released back in 2006, 'Atlas' has reached its ten year anniversary and what better way to celebrate than with some shiny new remixes? From one duo another, Swiss pair Adriatique have swapped DIYmanic for devilish with their new re-imagining.

They've taken the techno bruiser and turned into a twinkly builder, one that keeps intact all of the components that make the original so good. The colossal main riff is still there, creating a nice amount of dread while tones flutter innocently in the background.

We've assembled an all-star crew of artists to remix an incredible original by Active Child. Everyone truly brought their A-game, and the results speak for themselves. Many timeless dance floor moments are sure to come from this release. MDK is a new project by someone responsible for some of the most iconic tracks in the past 10 years. The man behind it is none other than Matthew Dekay (@MatthewDekay). Joining him is another legend, known for his emotional and unique approach, someone taking a no-compromise approach to production and sound quality, a man that needs no introduction - @Stimming.

As chance would have it, a couple more of our dear friends wanted to join this project, upon hearing about it, quickly turning it into a mini-album. @Dave-DK's Pacific Ride is a melodic journey, while his stripped down Topanga Dub goes into darker territory. This one will be right at home in the desert or a warehouse, just the way we like it. @Pablo-Bolivar rounds things out with a serious four to the floor jam, alongside a nostalgic ambient version that serves as a perfect closer to this remix EP.
