Bonfante delivers two perfect examples for this kind of sound. Aldeapolis lifts our spirits like the promise of t-shirt weather. Her voice sneaks between the beats in rhythmic fragments first, only in the second half her singing breaks through fully with a catchy flourish. The retro-infused, rhythmically stripped-down to the maximum remix of Mollono.Bass focuses entirely on the vocal. Cyborgs Like Unicorns Too is playful and humorous not only in its title, here Bonfante creates a mighty recognition factor by using the outrageously cool sound of an electric guitar. The remix of Stimming throbs along under the influence of acid, leading us into the rather trippy environment of a late party hour.

Dafür verwegene, dreifach destillierte, dunkelbunt eingefärbte Tanzmusik in zeitgenössischer Auf-die-Zwölf Architektur; im Fachjargon auch als Brett bezeichnet. Dafür haben sich Just Emma mit ihrem Produzenten- und Feier-Freund Joss Martin zusammengetan, und das Resultat geht in seiner schlingernden Eingängigkeit tatsächlich nochmal deutlich über die Summe dieser bemerkenswerten individuellen Talente hinaus. Dole & Kom schreiben die Geschichte im unbemüht fließenden Vibe und doch auf unerklärliche Weise zwingenden Druck von Groove-Altmeistern neu. Und The Glitz zetteln mit dem auf den Punkt gebrachten Knall ihres Remix noch eine weitere Runde ausufernden Tanzflächen-Krawall an.
Despite the title, there's no singing girls in here. Nope, it's just a bold, triple distilled, nocturnal and highly intoxicating piece of dance music, designed to hit the floor with maximised impact; we could also just call it a classic banger. Just Emma joined creative forces with fellow producer and party animal Joss Martin, and the rolling and grinding result does indeed exceed the sum of this remarkable reunion of talent. Dole & Kom rewrite this story in the unmistakable style of highly experienced old hands, mixing a smooth, unpretentious vibe with some carefully incorporated kick-ass features. The escalating dancefloor riot goes on and on, as The Glitz throw in another high-octane remix that is bursting with bass-heavy peaktime vibes.

In the depth of music you close your eyes. You close your eyes to open your heart. You open your heart to give in to the strength of floating spaces of music. Welcome to the sound of Just Emma. The duo manages to make you drift from reality to a fictional journey into a different world. For more than four years Alex and Saskia have been part of the electronic music scene, spreading their driving, deep, hence melodic and playful sound focusing on one message their music reveals to every single person: love! While Saskia‘s musical skills developed during early childhood piano lessons, Alex made first contact with electronic music with his “Minimal Lounge“ solo project. Releasing on labels such as Katermukke, Hanse Hertz, Plötzlich Music and Connaisseur Recordings it is their own imprint Underyourskin Records that has been causing a buzz lately and on which Just Emma releases their dark and melodic interpretation of electronic music. Therefore the duo prefers to play the early morning hours to attract the crowd with an ocean of diverse sounds.
