Binaryh marks his spot on Steyoyoke Black with his ‘Primary Code’ EP, featuring two prodigious and haunting productions, ‘Identity’ and ‘Encode’. The ode to the mathematical and technological age, ‘Primary Code’ is essentially a harmonization of the darker elements which exist in the realms of sound; organic, digital, and analog. 
‘Identity’ punches through sound systems with a tantalizing energy, kept consistent from the first until the last note of this ghostly track. With a powerful arrangement, Binaryh showcases a vivifying bass line accompanied by splashes of eminence through a complexity of synthesized sounds.
‘Encode’ sheds light on the devastating beauty within darkness. Evocative and emotive, the never-ending climax of Binaryh’s productions seeps deep into this creation particularly. Siren-like synths lead way to an ever-increasing attachment to the rhythms and melodies, in an almost addictive way. 
A powerful and wistful EP, ‘Primary Code’ remains loyal to the Steyoyoke Black sound, whilst enabling Binaryh to run wild in an allegorical creative playground.

Vomvo is back with a cinematic story by the Danish artist Pete Oak. He is definitely one of the men to follow this year. Pete presents an amazing selection of pure electronic sounds giving his personal touch and offering his own soundtrack. Vomvo is a conceptual album created by Sincopat that gives a different artist every year the chance to orchestrate a personal vision of his sound. Darlyn Vlys was the first one to develop this concept and AFFKT continued last year with another stunning collection. In 2007, we have Pete Oak as the leader, so let's enjoy the journey: "For this VOMVO I wanted to create a dark, melancholic and emotional mood. I’m a big fan of the dark aspect of house music. For me it brings out a lot of emotions and joy - it pulls me into a small universe with no worries, no hate, no pain and no Donald Trumps - only love”. “All the music is handpicked from producers that I have worked with in one-way or another. Big and small artists - all of whom got something unique to bring to the table. I’m really thrilled and proud with the result. Heading from Frankfurt to the world, Rey & Kjavik‘s soundscape has left a tremendous impression in the electronic music scene ever since his first productions were released on Kindisch/Get Physical back in 2012. Further

EPs and remixes on Katermukke, Exploited or Compost followed and
marked an unrivaled time. Nevertheless, the Frankfurt native is ready to
leave his musical but not personal past behind to look forward and create and shape a new era in house music with the release of his upcoming mystic and spiritual debut album „Rkadash“. Touring North America in 2015 established the basis for a more emotional approach to music that also originates in Rey & Kjavik‘s groundbreaking experience when playing The Kazbah“ at Burning Man for the first time. With that in mind he started to capture the spirit and unique atmosphere in tones. But it was a gig at Indigo in Instanbul and an extended stay at the Bosporus that pieced the puzzle together and helped Rey & Kjavik to finalize the album. "Rkadash“ tells a story, a story of a nomad in the contemporary world diving deep into the Orient, riding the dunes in the desert and finding peace through musical freedom. It is the story of a journey and the further development of Rey & Kjavik‘s music. So it is no surprise that the album is considered as the follow up sound of his most successful record "Baba City“. The 10-tracker from one of the fastest rising artists in the scene proves that in order to achieve greatness one must accept responsibility and leave the comfort zone. To coincide with its Amsterdam Dance Event showcase at Bar Feijoa on Friday 20th October, the London-based imprint has compiled a sampler of some of its finest recent tracks.

Alongside these re-releases, here is a special new track to mark the occasion from up-and-comer Juan (FR) - a young French artist whose productions have already been released on the likes of Connaisseur, Kindisch and Underyourskin. Based in Paris, Juan has a residency at Sweet Musique where his live and DJ sets move the crowds with organic percussion, ethnic and afro vibes and deep, spiritual moods.

Ritter Butzke Club, based in the heart of Berlin-Kreuzberg, celebrates their 8th anniversary. What once started as an illegal rave, is now established on the regular club scene. After all these years, it still maintains the charm of an ‘unfinished’ living room. “8 Years Lost” is a sound document created by resident DJs and friends to represent the vibe of the place and to share it with their listeners.

The release comes with 14 tracks by celebrities like: Nicone`, Koletzki & Schwind, Klangkuenstler or Tigerskin, well mixed with tracks from the residents like: Baal, DJ Aroma or Prismode & Solvane plus some nice goodies from close friends who are also regulars in the venue such as: HRRSN, Kotlett & Zadak or Dapayk Solo. Markus Klee contributed a DJ Mix to the digital edition of the release.
