Chris toured the world professionally back-up dancing for 6 years and has been djing for 15 more at LGBTQ+ bars and events. His passion for performing transcends into spinning open-format house music and remixing relevant pop/diva vocals to make you dance. His style of mixing will take you on a journey, always with the intent of making a memorable experience.

Chris makes music with his production brother, @drootrax creating originals and remixes inspired by 90’s/ 00’s hip hop, disco, latin and afro House.

Over 25 years ago amidst Calgary's vibrant rave culture, J9's musical journey began, igniting a passion that continues to shape her purpose in life. In 2011, she founded J9Productions, initially captivating audiences with her unique brand of burlesque shows and live music events before transitioning to organizing House music events in 2016, notably the renowned HUMPDay HOUSE Party. 

Driven by a profound connection to music, J9 embarked on her DJing journey in 2022. Since her debut, J9 has graced the decks at prestigious events such as Wicked Woods Music Festival, and has had the honour of opening for esteemed artists like Megan Hamilton, Average Citizens & Father Funk. 

Known for her sensual, groove-filled sets, J9’s preferred sound blends House and Drum & Bass—but she loves playing anything that makes her feel good. From organic house to indie dance and downtempo, her broad musical palette brings depth and energy to every set. She thrives on the coveted opening set time slot, igniting the dance floor and creating the vibe to ensure an unforgettable experience.  

Through the music, J9 aims to evoke profound emotions, foster connection, spread love, positivity, and bring people together, one frequency at a time.

Desconocido para muchos pero gran conocido para otros, este Dj de origen Aragonés, lleva más de 20 años seleccionando y mezclando música. Gran conocedor de la escena underground, ha pinchado como residente y como invitado en decenas de clubs y festivales a lo largo y ancho de todo el territorio español.Comienza sus andadas pinchando rock & punk en pequeños bares y salas de conciertos y no es hasta el año 1997 cuando por fín se pone delante de unos mk1200, y comienza a mezclar música electrónica, y entra en contacto con el concepto de música de club, pinchando en diferentes clubs y discotecas de la capital maña...........
