A spark of ingenuity sees Petar Dundov light up Proton Music once again aided by iridescent remixes from BLANCAh and Imran Khan.

Regularly seeing his music featured on the likes of Meanwhile, 3rd Avenue and Clinique with a variety of original and remix production material, Imran Khan has shone brightly through 2018’s “Arrival” EP on Particles, while August 2019’s “Organik” and November’s “Sunsweat” EPs continued his story on Proton Music. 

Remixes for GMJ, Dmitry Molosh and Michael A for the latter, have continued to showcase a burgeoning talent as the UK star now adds his touch to Dundov's new Spark release. Characterized by a hefty rhythmic groove and seismic bassline, growling synth lines swim across the stereo spectrum as delayed percussive hits and ticking hats supply hypnotic energy. Evolving with elegance, pads and effects are introduced as pitched variations on the original’s central motifs bend and echo into the distance in intriguing fashion. The result is an innovative and dramatic interpretation with its roots firmly in Petar Dundov’s 'Spark'.

@SomaSoul returns to ENDLESS for his 2nd release on the imprint as he’s teaming up with Innervisions’ @Underspreche for ‘A Tu Lado’. The collaboration started in 2022 after both artists suffered from strokes of faith in their personal lives. With ‘A Tu Lado’ (meaning ‘By Your Side’), both artists want to embrace the suffering, embrace ourselves a little, giving a few minutes of tenderness – and help remembering that we are not alone – even when it seems we are. On the flipside, Soma Soul goes 'solo' with 'Sinning', a subtle yet effective mix of melancholic melodies, dancefloor ready drumming and clever arrangement.

Born and raised in Mexico City, Diego, known by his artist name Dakarai, has had a lifelong passion for music. His exploration of various musical genres and instruments, including African and Cuban percussion, jazz theory, and electronic music production, has shaped his unique sound. Now a member of Mexiko Colectivo and with releases on multiple international labels, Dakarai continues to push the boundaries of his musical expression.

"The Valley" EP is a reflection of his time spent immersed in the forests and valleys of the West coast of Canada on Turtle Island.

These tracks are deeply inspired by the natural world and the profound sense of connection he experienced there. With rich, organic soundscapes & progressive grooves, It invites the listener to a vibrant place somewhere between the forest and the cosmos, between the past and the future; here and now.

"Beginning with the tight, punchy beats and detailed design of the original mix it's clear the trio is operating at their creative peak. Fresh and dramatic across it's near eight minute journey, it's a sensory delight full of welcoming dance floor dynamics. As mounds of bass undulate, spacey arps add a mystical vibe, before vocal overlays further the narrative through ghostly meanderings. Building subtly, the beauty lies in the break, classy in execution and undeniably cosmic as clustered electronics, redolent arps and wispy wails converge in a perfect sonic marriage. And for the less vocally inclined the trio have also included a dub which carries all the astral qualities of the original.

The first interpretation of 'Never' is provided by Paul Anthonee who returns to the label for his fourth appearance. The Cyprus based artist last appeared on the Greek imprint in December of 2018 with his well received ëNemesis' EP. Also laying claim to releases on Beatfreak Recordings and Suara, Paul now returns to Movement Recordings with a stunning rendition of 'Never'. Fluid and crunchy in equal measure, it's a mix that drifts away from the emotive themes in the original, while adding an ethereal vibe through unique sonic artefacts and a wonky lead theme. Tension and drama come in waves as percussive flurries and industrial-like effects make for several dynamic moments leading into the break. The centrepiece furthers the storyboard as it's operatic tones build to a sonic sizzle before a powerful drop cues an exhilarating finale. 

The release concludes with Dousk returning to the label and providing the second and final interpretation of 'Never'. The Greek artist has been a mainstay of the Movement Recordings roster since making his label debut in 2011. Widely regarded as one of progressive music's most creative talents, Dousk has showcased his work on John Digweed's Bedrock Records, Proton Music and Vapour Recordings. Now following a chart topping remix of 'X-Groove' by Lonya & Wally Lopez to end 2018, the Greek artist presents a stunning remix of 'Never' for his first production of the new year."
