Hoito label-head Sascha Braemer makes a welcome return to Marc Romboy’s Systematic this July with the Who Died And Made You King EP. The three-track release includes a remix by former Agents Of Time member, Fedele.

The title track opens proceedings, pairing emotive key changes against Dom Fricot’s poignant vocal tones. It’s a haunting number that leaves us in a state of starry-eyed reflection before Fedele’s Revenge Mix takes on a harder edge. A weighty bassline contrasts Dom’s soothing lyrical contributions, as hard-hitting percussion marches on in the background. Mars 96 completes the EP, featuring ethereal synth pulses, warming pads and whispering hats throughout.

Sascha Braemer has become a familiar figure in the global house scene in a career that spans decades. As label-head of Hoito, the German-native native has welcomed the likes of BOg, Aaaron and Echonomist in recent times. 2021 looks set to be a highlight year for the Systematic-regular, with an array of releases already soon to land on Anjunadeep and Deutsche Grammophon to name a few.

A talented Dj, producer, and composer from Ukraine once again send us into the world of hypnotic sound - The Wind That Speaks To Me sounds mesmerizing, like the wind in the desert, fully justifying its name. The remix by Binaryh reinterprets the already deep essence of the track, while
OIBAF&WALLEN reveals it from a completely different side. This delightful EP track ends with NAVI - a symbiosis of rhythm and depth in one place, it sounds magical. Excellent work from S.ONE.

Black Rose's sixteenth release comes from the great greeks producers Alexandros Djkevingr and Greg Ignatovich and includes a stunning remix from Erly Tepshi. Rich basses and robotic voices define the original version of "86ing", in this track the synth will transport you into a hypnotic vortex of vibrations. In "Faniola" you'll find nostalgic grooves from the past and electronic glitchy sounds with again robotic vocals that define the track, get ready to jump into a time machine. At the end the remix of "86ing" from Erly Tepshi is a more melodic interpretation keeping the same robotic vocals and synth melody, you will feel the distant spaces in the main drop driving you into a vibrant sky of sounds.

Neopolitan juggernaut Sasha Carassi lands at Renaissance…

Italy has unparalleled dance heritage; the Italo sound reaches back over 40 years and was formative to British house culture back in the day. Jump to the present and its influence remains as strong as ever, perhaps even more so. It’s been an incubator to some of the biggest, most exciting DJs and producers on the planet in recent years, which includes current shining star, Sasha Carassi.

Sasha arrives at Renaissance on an absolute tear. His CV includes Diynamic, Drumcode, Bedrock, Atlant and IAMHER, with whom he recently topped the Beatport Indie dance charts. Heat doesn’t come close to describing it.

His ‘Invain’ three-track EP certainly won’t put a dent in that trajectory. It’s further confirmation of his flourishing-status and amazing ability to unite styles. “I produce with no particular scheme or genre in mind,” he explains, “I just keep my eye on the dancefloor.”

Title-track ‘Invain’ is a collaboration with fellow Neopolitan Davide Celiento aka Kendah, who provides a modish, infectious vocal. Both describe the record as, “A song of inspiration. It’s about escape, connection and mutual support following a highly uncertain period.” Presented as two versions, trainspotters may take particular joy in the ‘Galvatron Dub’, which pays title-homage to the late Angel Moraes’ ‘Heaven Knows’, a Renaissance classic if ever there was one.

Closing out the EP is ‘Desert Drop’, a deeper, club-driven affair designed to keep emerging dancefloors firmly in its sights and ‘Pathos’, an emotive breakbeat track that brings a real sense of variety to proceedings. “That one isn’t just for DJ sets and I do hope it crosses over in that sense. It’s deliberately introspective,” he concludes.

Rauschhaus is back to Timeless Moment in team duo collaboration with label first timer Robin Schellenberg with a massive 3 track EP.

Boot , OSC and CTRL are three tracks that fuse the well-known melodic progressive signature sound design of Rauschhaus with the strong dance floor techno grooves from Robin. 

Boot & OSC bring strong synth lines with hypnotic arpeggios and evolving atmospheres for peak time dance floor vibes. Both tracks bring that rolling bass line vibe and are grouped with amazing percussion and fx work for two powerful secret weapons. 

CTRL is a more melodic journey, with complex emotional harmonies from organic synths bringing its listeners to a trance like state. Lots of suspense and dance floor grooves makes this title a perfect fit to bridge the set in between climax tracks, for total body and mind control over the dance floor crowd.
