Jan Dalvík is a part of the electronic sector as a producer and sound-designer for 25 years now. He successfully collaborated with several artists, but today it's time for his very first release in his own name. His "Basar"-EP is currently released by WHATIPLAY. 
Jan Dalvík is well-known for analog sound-design, his music impresses by groovy and impulsive beats. Next to that the tracks "Basar" and "Napur" reveal ethnical influence, which serves to convert his visual travel impressions into music.

Steadily and continuously carving out a niche of our own, bringing forward and developing a specific Hive Audio sound we're celebrating our entry into the three digit realm with a special EP release – one that brings back „Memories“ and creates new ones at the same time.

With Animal Trainer's take on the subject we're taken into a fever'ish, slightly mysterious yet shimmering TechHouse realm defined by an ever cascading synth spiral, large scale strings and a deep, soulful female vocal approach for well memorable moments on the dancefloor.

Following up is Dario D'Attis whose „Memories“ are based on a raw, pumping, bass-heavy groove and ever growing tension nicely accompanied by catchy, powerful vocals and intricate, playful synth variations making this track suitable for both TechHouse and House audiences alike.

Furthermore our man Definition has got „Memories“, too, and pretty uplifting ones indeed. Opening on a captivating synth tip and switching gears swiftly his cut is a surely muscular, yet melodic one for more progressive late night peaks in your favorite venue around.

Finally Animal Trainer presents the 'Sunset Version' of his „Memories“ as an additional bonus cut, going in strong for a truly dramatic variation that puts both every Balearic tune and every movie theme ever to shame, coming across as the essence of pure, heartfelt emotion translating far beyond any dancefloor.

Alex Dimou makes a welcome debut on Crosstown Rebels with What Keeps You There with two great remixes from Cevin Fisher and Avidus.

The EP begins with the enchanting nature of What Keeps You There. A prominent piano roll opens proceedings, with Vili’s moving vocals soon introduced over a chugging bassline. Cevin Fisher’s remix of the title track comes next. A more driving minimal house take on the lead record, subtle kicks converge on rustling percussion, before Vili’s emotive vocals once again form a poignantly heartfelt production. Avidus provide a dance floor-ready rework of the original, that features a mechanical sounding synth and an echoing, electric breakdown, before the EP is rounded off with Let It Be Known, a four-to-the-floor, pumping house cut made up of strong kicks and driving pads.

Alex Dimou is a producer, DJ and remixer whose career has seen him perform all around the global circuit. As a remixer, he has collaborated with the likes of Maya Jane Coles and M.A.N.D.Y, whilst his own releases have found a home on Jamie Jones’ Hottrax as well as renowned Berlin imprint Get Physical Music. Legendary American producer Cevin Fisher has been releasing standout records since 1995, achieving five entries in the UK singles chart between 1998 and 2001. German duo Avidus are regulars on Crosstown Rebels, and continue to run their own imprint Empore Music, which was launched in 2015.

Berlin-based Electro/Pop duo Yeah But No announce the release of the latest addition to "Demons Remixes", a series of carefully chosen remixes accompanying their sophomore album "Demons".

Yeah But No is comprised of Douglas Greed and Fabian Kuss. Merging electronic music with classic song structures into a smart and captivating listening enjoyment is the band's objective ever since they started collaborating. 

Being on the road constantly, Yeah But No have shaped and redefined their musical vision of the band. Dealing with inner and outer conflicts and contrarieties, "Demons" is a slightly darker and more mature piece of music than the bands previous releases. 

Following the two marvelous works by Mollono.Bass and Andreas Henneberg, now Berlin/Rotterdam-based DJ, producer and owner of House/Techno-label AEON, Alex Niggemann, gets involved. He transfers the bands recent Single "Run Run Run" into a dark and hypnotising Melodic House track. 

As classically trained pianist, and a tireless character in the world of electronic music, Alex Niggemann is used to change perspective, und crossing musical boarders. Always embracing the new and constantly pushing boundaries of the music he loves so much, and updating it for the future.

Some called him Mozart of Techno, others see the new Elvis Presley of Techno in him or the manifestation of Jesus. God, I am so modest. Don't put your light under the bed my teacher in elementary school said. Especially when it is a candle. 

No, but seriously: Whatever you might think, for me this is part of my life condensed in music and since it's almost impossible to find singers who want to work on their vocals more than 2 takes it was a practical choice to use my own voice.
