Following his well received remix of Ane Brun 'To Let Myself Go' on Objektivity just a few weeks ago, it is finally time for André Hommen's very own, first ever solo EP called "The Bottom Line". This groovy number consists of three tracks that are style-wise all very different, showing off Hommen's wide range as producer.

EP's title track 'The Bottom Line' was first featured in André's Boiler Room NY set (February, 2014), receiving great response and a massive "Track ID?" -explosion on social media. 'Epiphany' and 'Reach Out' on the B side do not disappoint either - as groovy as they are energetic, they would fit well in different stages of any set.

After being closely involved with the label for over six years, Andre's solo EP on Objektivity has finally arrived!

Martin Eyerer has been in the dance music business for 25 years  and as a producer has gold albums in UK and Australia and has previously had a top 3 US Billboard chart ranking under his belt.  With an extensive catalogue of more than 150 releases, he's released on the world's hottest labels like Renaissance, My Favorite Robot, Get Physical, Rejected plus his own imprint Kling Klong.  

As a mixing and mastering engineer Martin runs a respectable analog studio since 15 years, which has an established standing specially in the electronic music scene.

His partner on the project, producer and DJ Markus Homm is consistently perfecting  his style and continues to develop his understanding of the tensions between music and body.

Coming in fresh for the summer season with their third outing on Hive Audio is the Swiss duo named Sous Sol with a follow up to their massive „Taonga EP“. Bringing forth two new original tracks and a remix by Romanian electronic music staple Mihai Popoviciu, their new release the „Dizzy Rhythm EP“, fully lives up the pairings high quality standards and is soon to be heard on a dancefloor near you.

Opening with the title track „Dizzy Rhythm“ Sous Sol are employing a deep, tribalistic vibe for a start,  fusing intricate, complex percussion lines with a seductive TechHouse groove and masterly crafted synth arrangements bringing forth a well balanced amount of mystique and drive ideal for intimate late settings as well as epic moments throughout large scale sunrise sessions.

On a remix tip for „Dizzy Rhythm“ is no-one less than Mihai Popoviciu. The Romanian Techno legend who's left a trail of releases on high quality labels like International Deejay Gigolo, Poker Flat Recordings, Bedrock Records and many more over the years turns towards a more dancefloor focused  approach in his rework, strips things down a little, adds quite a distinct, stoic hi-hat whilst staying true to a certain, dreamlike and well trance inducing feel for an ultimate lift-off.

Finally „Hazy Vision“ sees Sous Sol on a well funky tip, once again bringing forth masterly crafted percussion vibes alongside a classic uplifting pad motif harking back to a mid-90s House vibe accompanied by large scale build-ups and the duos trademark mysticism, all falling into place to channel dancefloor energies towards a huge, and surely inevitable, climax.

Boran Ece was born in the same decade as house music. However, Boran’s story is not a commercially driven one about a young artist who experimented with musical instruments from an early age. It is also not about a young raver who spent his summer holidays on Ibiza, and later made it onto the most famous stages of the world. The essence of his life story is not just linked to events – it is an emerging legacy of the history of art. Boran finds inspiration throughout the depths of the electronic music world and is able to share his art in the furthest corners of the globe like Amsterdam, Berlin and Istanbul, and on labels like Lemon Juice Records. ‘Relance’ now sees him launch his Son d’Étroit imprint as a platform for his original material which includes a remix from Berlin-based engineer Hannes Bieger who has releases on Tronic, Poker Flat, Bedrock and Fryhide.

Homemade sound waves: this is what the first release of the new label Son d'Étroit sounds like. The label founder, Boran Ece made the inaugural release a matter close to his heart and shows his performance side with this track. ‘Relance’ is a skillfully created chaos has arisen that presents and unites precisely chosen elements. Soulful, pure, minimal with an organic deep house touch that’s food for the dancers. Hannes Bieger’s version is an alluring cut with dubbed-out textures, pulsating bass rolls and inviting melodies that harmonise delightfully with the softening vocals throughout.
