This is my very first electronic music production, born from a moment of prayer and spiritual connection. 

While seeking guidance from God, I felt inspired to translate that sacred conversation into sound—transforming prayer into melody.
The track draws its emotional core from a Chinese gospel song that has always moved me, reimagined through the lens of melodic house. 

Every note carries the essence of that prayerful moment, creating an instrumental journey that speaks without words.

This is my attempt to transfer prayer into sound—a bridge between the sacred and the electronic. I hope it resonates with you the way it flowed through me.

Of all past King Street Sounds releases Tuccillo & Kiko Navarro feat. Amor’s “Lovery” has both demanded respect and love from dance floors globally along with a slew of remixes from its original mix. With that in mind, we here at King Street brought dance musical lovers together with two brand new remixes of “Lovery” specifically crafted for 2019 dance floors! Kicking things off, Berlin based DJ/producer David Mayer brings his unique style, vibe, and flow to his emotive and melodic yet deep and driving remix of the original.  Next up, Greek DJ/producer and Daylight Robbery boss Jojo Angel turns up the after hours heat with his aggressive tech house remix of “Lovery.” Finally, the release is concluded by Tuccillo & Kiko Navarro’s original late night ‘Vocal Dub’ of the original.

The Berlin-based duo Walter Merziger and Arno Kammermeier, aka Booka Shade, return to Bedrock to unveil their second EP for John Digweed’s imprint. Coming from one of the finest pioneering electronic music acts of the past two decades, their excitedly awaited ‘Understanding EP’ does not disappoint.

Opening with the dark, enticing percussive pulse of ‘Understanding’, the masterful duo lay down a work of art that invokes the spirit of classic house music with its distinctive vocal samples, bedded perfectly on an exceptional spine-tingling Techno groove. Genre blurring electronic music at its finest. The jittery, buzzing energy of ‘Sonus’ sees Walter and Arno drive the atmosphere towards more experimental sonic territory whilst never deviating from their rock-solid groove foundations.

With their extraordinary individualistic creative juices flowing freely, Booka Shade introduce hypnotising looped hooks, a low-slung Tech groove and uplifting melodies for ‘Curve’. With its subtle added dose of funk, this is the perfect combination to release some heart-warming summer sunshine into the party. As a finale, ‘Retox’ unfolds as a glorious spiralling, heart rushing electronic creation that is the perfect climactic conclusion to an exceptional EP.

Disorder’ single, backed with a remix from Timo Maas, for Sasha’s Last Night on Earth imprint.

Having first appeared on Last Night On Earth with the ‘Bring On The Night’ collaboration with Sasha, the prospect of a Teej LP on the label has been rumoured but before that, ‘Liking Your Disorder’ is here to whet the appetite.

Putting a modern and often highly musical slant on the classic punch of house music aesthetics, Teej never fails to deliver fresh sounding material and ‘Liking Your Disorder’ is no different. Fuelled by a 909 flavoured beat that is worked to the maximum without ever overreaching itself, ‘Liking Your Disorder’ throws an elastic synth riff around it’s concise 6 minute length with confidence. Never one to shy away from layering melodies
Teej playfully toys with secondary keys that range from the rhythmic to long held notes which result in an ever changing, densely emotive dancefloor cut.

Timo Maas’ version is very much a remix in the old school sense of the term – using the majority of Teej’s sounds and providing a new slant on them in a subtle and measured manner. Slow burning, increasingly rhythmic and with just the right amount of peaks and troughs, it’s a master class in arrangement.

Mar Dean - Come with Me EP // 

Coming in for a full on Hive Audio label debut after already contributing a track to our „Summer Slices Compilation 2018“ is Mar Dean, another long standing activist from the Swiss underground now aiming at international dancefloors with his „Come With Me EP“ release.

Opening with the title track „Come With Me“ Mar Dean approaches high energy Tech House in a truly uplifting fashion, draws inspiration from classic HardBag build-ups and finally triggers ecstatic crowd reaction with a rolling monster of a bassline accompanied by masterly crafted melodic elements in motion. A true banger with a slightly progressive twist.

Dealing with „Volcano Pigs“ we see Mar Dean coming from a slightly different angle, catering a stompy, well sculpted and defo more Techno-leaning foundation drumwise before opening things up with intricate melodic interplay and slightly dubbed out House stabs, hard filtered vocal samples and ghostly FX for spine-tingling moments on the dancefloor.

Teaming up with vocalist Nicole, Mar Dean is in for serious „Euphoria“ caused by hyper-harmonic, somewhat melancholia inducing chord progressions in combination with emotionally touching storytelling – all falling together to form the most beautiful electronic love song you've heard in ages.

Finally German producer Ron Flatter is in for a remix treatment, transforming and reshaping „Euphoria“ into a captivating, ever cascading Tech House anthem infused with huge harmonic basslines, angelic pads and a big portion of ravey, intense vibes for an ultimate peaktime takeoff.
