Already a household name in Berlin, with gigs at Watergate, Sisyphos and more under her belt, Stil Vor Talent regular Deer Jade returns to production with new vigour on an exciting collaboration with Dominican producer Vander. His sound is distinctive yet diverse, dancing between Afro-Latin influences, synthwave and the darker side of disco which we can hear on releases via Pipe & Pochet, Discos Tabu and Klassified. 

‘Intergalactic Tango’ instantly teleports you to a dreamy destination with use of Mâhfoud’s exotic synth work and Moroccan sounding organ chords. Jade’s sensual vocals encourage you to keep exploring the sonic landscape of this daytime lounge record. Perfect for the warmer days and nights ahead. 

The package comes with two fantastic remixes, the first from Parisian duo Chambord, who take a bit more of a deeper approach to the track and creates an ethereal atmosphere. The gentle arp keeps the rhythm moving and pairs perfectly with the stripped back percussion.

The second from Pandhora who take the original on a more dancefloor focused approach. There is a distinct contrast between the deep / groovy bassline and the smoother, almost jazzy chord progression. Replacing the organ chords with funk guitar strums adds a subtle French flare to their edit.  The trio unleash a heavenly sound together. A unique release with deep squelchy bass combined with a striped back groove for a Latin-infused masterclass.

Having already appeared on Flying Circus Recordings with a killer collaboration with Maga back in 2019, DJ & producer Nhii goes on a solo venture with his new single ‘Closer’ featuring Shrii. Remixes are provided by Yulia Niko and Rony Seikaly, and the package is sealed off with another sweet production from the Brookyln based German artist. In its original mix, ‘Closer’ is a pulsing and peppy slice of mystical and engrossing dance music, lightly dipped in reverb, and featuring a infectious vocal performance from Shrii, all delivered with the sophistication and elegance one would expect for a Flying Circus release.
Mannheim based Yulia Niko supplies the first of the remixes of ‘Closer’. The rising DJ/producer has hugely impressed via releases on esteemed labels like Watergate, 8Bit, Rebellion and Get Physical, and on her remix deploys a effervescent acid line and dubby chords whilst chopping up and twisting Shrii’s vocal for a pure transcendental workout. Lebanese/US producer Rony Seikaly turns in the second remix on this bustling EP. Fueled by an early love of US house music, Seikaly has gone on to forge a sound and style that has graced labels like Moon Harbour, Voltaire Music as well as his own Stride imprint. His deep and seductive remix really works a treat here.
Closing the EP, Nhii pops in a second original production with ‘White Box’. Melodic synths bounce off a mechanical yet funky rhythm, soft kicks and deft percussion propel this hypnotizing and graceful track, and if a fitting finale to a stand out release on Audiofly’s established label. “Closer” feat. Shrii by Nhii is released on Audiofly’s Flying Circus Recordings imprint from 16th September 2022.

Thomas and Julien aka Parallells are Dutch brothers based out of France and also the co-founders of Klassified Records and Klassified Music Festival a massive artistic and cultural outdoor project combining electronic music, art, and well-being.

Sagesse Et Pouvoir is part of the compilation "Helios & Selene" on the Swiss-based label, Wildfang Music.

The vocal is a French poem written by the artists that talks about Wisdom and Power, two characteristics that can be found deep in the music as well.

No stranger to the dancefloor and festival scene, Elif brings her vision into sounds and words to present "Moonspell", her first offering to A Tribe Called Kotori.

With huge early success as an international music blogger, fresh talent Istanbul-born Elif covered all the main festivals as a writer until, after teaching herself music production and mixing, she swapped ligging for gigging four years ago as a DJ.
