For its sixth release, Around Midnight chose to showcase the mesmerizing work of French artist Rammö. A prolific producer based in the South of France, Rammö also graced the decks of famous festivals such as Wonderfruit in Thailand, Afrikaburn or Moga Festival to name just a few. His signature sound, a trippy flow mixing only recorded sounds and acid synthesizers, is highlighted in this "Paradox Dream" E.P through 2 originals and 1 remix. "Paradox Plant" leads us to an elevation in slow motion thanks to spellbinding drums combined with distorted synthesizers and incantatory vocals. The track slowly walks us into the depths of our perceptions, where green fumes eventually transform into beautiful and rewarding visions. At the core of the second track, "Pablo's Dream", modulated French lyrics stand out for the voice of our subconscious gently carrying us into a paradoxical reality. Meanwhile, the round signature baseline punctuated by acid drops of synthesizers slowly opens up around the vocals like flower petals : a joyful dip into the enlightening shadows of our inner self. The remix of "Pablo's Dream" by the Happy Camper Records duo Unders and Noraj Cue conveys a deep clubbing vibe through the use of stronger beats and a higher pitch coupled with playful variations on the main theme that expand the original to another dimension while preserving its dreamy and introspective purpose. Premiere: Cobe-Cobe - Sway (Noraj Cue Remix) [LIL Dream]

During his latest trip to Japan, label owner Robbie Akbal fully immersed himself in Japanese culture by spending a month in Tokyo. During his stay, he had the opportunity to collaborate with some of the city's finest artists, including Reo Matsumoto, Akira Arasawa, and Mamazu.

These connections led to several studio sessions at Reo's place, resulting in the creation of "Ärcadia." This collaboration features Reo Matsumoto on the handpan, creating hypnotic melodies, Mamazu contributing quirky sounds, Akira playing melodies on various Asian instruments, and Robbie blending everything with his signature groove and tribal vision.

In addition to the original track, the remix duties were handled by the Happy Camper boys, Noraj Cue & Unders. Their remix is a masterpiece that maintains the mystic vibe and Asian feel of the original while introducing hypnotic, classy driven dance floor elements.

Free Download: Foreign Guest - Taris

Hungarian producer Paul Kardos shows up on our Bonzai Progressive imprint with fantastic two tracker, The Workout Song. He marked his Bonzai debut on Green Martian with the wonderful Tres Sonidos EP back in July 2015. Since 2013 Paul has been churning out the quality on OLD SSQL Recordings with a raft of releases focusing in on the Progressive House side of the tracks.

The Workout Song intros with a very cool sequence of subtle melodies that intertwine with harsher  synth shots and quirky FX creating a colourful, textured sound. A nice and chunky kick comes through and is joined by a fantastic  pulsing synth that sits on the offset. Crispy hats and sharp claps deliver a rhythmic flow to the sound as the layers continue to build. A subtle bass sits back and allows the groove to move while adding just enough oomph to the groove. The short break allows chords to develop that takes the track even deeper into the progressive house abyss.

We Are One sets out with a nice chunky kick and a gently tip tapping hat. A distant synth begins to rise and becomes the big focus in the sound as it mesmerises with a subtle sweetness before crashing out to unleash the true deep traits of the track. Warm chords and a deep reverberating bass take over as we settle into a solid deep progressive groove. Those chords go through a transformation as they are opened up to reveal a striking bright melodic flavour. The break lets the melodies shine and weave intricate patterns that captivate beautifully. A wonderful display of melodies that will definitely appeal to many.

An artist with a considerable amount of kudos under his sizeable belt, Juan Deminicis returns to Proton Music with another hugely impressive in "Synchronicity".

Hailing from the populous and sprawling Buenos Aries, capital, Juan Deminicis has risen high above the towering skyscrapers of his home city and far beyond his country's borders. Success has been a constant companion for the Argentinean as he follows in the footsteps of those who inspired him. Thus, Digweed, Sasha, Warren and fellow superstar countryman, Hernan Cattaneo have all had a profound influence upon the Juan Deminicis sound.

An accomplished DJ who performs weekly across the clubs of the capital and beyond, Deminicis' production career is no less impressive. A triple century of production credits has thus found its way on to some of the finest underground imprints of the digital age. A debut for Atlantdigital in 2008 has been followed by over a decade of releases for the likes of Guy J's Lost & Found, Guy Mantzur's Plattenbank and Cattaneo's Sudbeat Music. Moreover, Proton Music has been a constant companion on the Juan Deminicis journey after January 2012's "Downshifting" debut with Pablo Acenso, followed a year later but the white-hot "Behind the Sun" EP and April 2019's "Life on the Moon". Remixed by a cast of stars that include Guy Mantzur & Khen, D-Nox & ZAC and GMJ & Matter, Deminicis has also been a highly sought-after artist.

Returning to the label after a remix of Michael A in May 2019, Juan Deminicis opens his 2020 account with the twin-track, "Synchronicity". The title track is a glorious melodic gem that shines across 7-minutes with its shimmering, sunlit motifs and hypnotic arpeggios. Conjuring images of warm and hazy afternoons, smooth delays and free-flowing keys ripple across a rhythmic framework characterised by shuffling hi-hats and rolling percussive groove. The result is wonderfully produced affair.

Opening with a grooved bassline that sits perfectly against a crisp percussive shell and seismic kick, "Sounds of Freedom" builds in effortless fashion with a swathe of melodic phrases that have their spiritual roots firmly in Kraftwerk's immaculate melodic programming. Cleverly building through textured white-noise washes and stratified layers of sound, the resultant track is a glorious reminder of Deminicis' talent, craft and technique.

The incredible "Synchronicity" flowing through Juan Deminicis' twin-track EP is certain to bring causal success.

Juan Deminicis - Sounds of Freedom (Original Mix)

Gale Talk aka Hector Bermejo returns to Monog Records with the fantastic Defiance EP. This one follows his debut with us a couple of years ago, a remix for HedUbble’s Dreams. With a passion for the exotic sounds he began making his first musical productions at the age of sixteen, these productions were hip hop, house, and techno, among others. His musical influences range from San Diego ́s Soul Music to the bizarre sounds of the classic Warp label. Hector has taken his love for all kind of styles to develop a very personal musical concept. In his role as producer he has worked for labels like Blackplace, Esperanza Records, Ipologica, Phase Insane, or Pong Music. He also works on a project called Ausdrücke with his friend and collaborator Galman. As a DJ he has played in many venues across the globe from Israel to Uruguay, always leaving a pleasant memory among clubbers. We're very happy to have him back at Monog.

The Original Mix of Defiance shakes up the dancefloor with a spritely vibe. Chunky beats and shuffling percussions add rhythms as melodic chords cascade. Rippling, arpeggio basses fade up, creating a rich tapestry, enhancing the groove with depth and feeling. A real classic vibe seeps out of the track, drawing us deeper into the sound. Vibrant and upfront, this one is not to be missed.

Aman Anand debuts here with a solid remix of Defiance. Spending his time between India and Singapore, Aman’s productions blur the line between electronica, progressive house and deep techno, blending these different sounds together in his own, unique way. His tracks have seen support from celebrated artists such as Hernan Cattaneo, Guy J, Secret Cinema and more. The self-taught mechanics of dance music for this young musician has started to translate itself into releases on reputable international imprints such as Sudbeat, Balkan Connection, Juicebox Music and Mango Alley to name a few and he has been billed in many clubs around India and Singapore. On the remix here, Aman takes the groove deeper, churning out a smooth slow burner for the late-night sessions. Driven by solid beats and crispy hats on top of a bed of strong percussions, the interpretation draws on the original elements in a subtle way while keeping the body moving. Pulsating basses and stabbing chords are complimented by wistful pads, creating a contrasting vibe. Top-notch stuff and a must have.

The Brightest Side rounds up the EP, striking a plush, sonic driven groove. Rich and atmospheric, the vibe moulds around an arpeggiated framework of cascading synth plucks. The musical elements widen as filters open up while a strong, warm bass shores up the low end. A construction of lively percussions lets the rhythm loose on this classic sounding mover that does not disappoint
