Solid Grooves serve up a five-track sampler featuring label founders PAWSA and Michael Bibi alongside label favourites ONNO, Reelow and Dennis Cruz.

Launching in September last year, Solid Grooves Records has been on an upwards trajectory ever since. The London and Ibiza brand are now about to kick-start their weekly Ibiza event series every Thursday at Vista Club where their core artists will share the decks with special guests throughout the summer. In light of this the founders have curated five tracks from some of their core roster that’s illustrative of the Solid Grooves musical aesthetic.

First up, Dennis Cruz ‘Fever’ is a rumbling track boasting echoing percussion and a heady spoken word sample. Michael Bibi then drops a moody number teeming with syncopated rhythms and chopped vocals before ONNO unleashes a cavernous cut named ‘Body Shake’ that’s geared for the peaktime. Next, PAWSA ‘Luster’ is a bass fuelled roller that takes no prisoners until Reelow concludes the package with the intricate ‘Shaolin Slap’.

We're willing to put good money on Dixon's remix of 'The Dawn' being a staple of his summer sets this year and it's a pretty good bet. 

His remix puts a growling, fierce new take on the original and he swaps delicate tones for rumbling bass hits and synths that propel and drive the track forward with an intensity only he can conjure up.

An outstanding EP all round and a remix from Dixon that ranks as one of his best to date.

Hard to believe how time passes by.
We pop the corks and celebrate our 100th podcast.

For this special day, nobody less than the guys from @tubeandberger left us an "Imprint of Pleasure".
Over fish sticks, noodles and spinach (Kids classic), the very sympathetic people from Solingen told us about their best experiences at their numerous festivals and concerts. They especially like to remember an evening in summer 2017.
On Ibiza, they had their most memorable performance so far, together with their colleagues Eric Prydz and H.O.S.H., in the temple of nightlife "Hi Ibiza".
But despite gigs all over the world and well over 100 million Spotify Streams, the German DJ duo stayed on the ground. For example, a power failure is unpretentiously compensated for with barbecues, chilling and music on the acoustic guitar, and during the difficult phase we're going through at the moment, they're happy about all the time at home, with family and friends.

Pantheon delivers Fear & Lust, a driving 2 track EP!

Fear kicks off with a tough bassline alongside soaring synth stabs which wind up throughout turning into a precise peak time romper. It encapsulates the feeling of having the energy to get the job done but fearing the outcome! A little less harsh, Lush maintains the essence of energy infusion! Syncopated synth work underlay a poetic chord arrangement to really signify the feeling of wanting to jump at something you know to be true but not sure if it is just a fleeting moment!
