Heute freut es mich besonders euch einen jungen Künstler aus dem hohen Norden zu präsentieren. Ein Mecklenburger Junge mit Hang zur Küste - Ostsee, Usedom, Sonneninsel. Ihr kennt das Spiel.

Seit ein paar Jahren ist Pay Kusten auf dem Meeresrausch beheimatet und veröffentlichte erste Tracks auf Sumpfsee Records und Respoal Schallware. Seitdem machte er sich auf, das Tanzen zu lehren. Er mag es mal bummeliger, mal hurtiger, mal süß und mal saftig, aber immer mit Herz.

Ohne schon vor 20 Jahren die ersten Platten gemischt zu haben, aber mit viel Liebe für den Groove, serviert der mittlerweile Hamburger verschiedene Perlen des elektronischen Buffets. Setzt euch hin oder tanzt ruhig.

Mich hat Paul vor ca. einem Jahr mal angeschrieben wann es denn mal wieder so ein Bummel-Techno Playlist gibt … weil die andere hat er jetzt schon mehrmals durchgehört. Seitdem sind wir im regen Kontakt und ich schätze gerade seinen Bummel-Techno-Sound sehr weil er es genau auf den Punkt bringt und das ist bei der Disziplin wirklich nicht einfach.

Vielen Dank Paul für diese super schön verspielten 1,5 Stunden … und euch da Draußen viel Spaß beim Bummeln ;-)

Knowing all my favourite DJs and producers, including some of my biggest inspirations and idols would be there as well, made the experience the biggest honour of my musical career to date.

 The reality of this opportunity did not set in until I was finally up on the decks getting ready to hit the play button… 

After struggling for a few years to obtain my US visa, sharing this moment with the White Ocean family on the first night of my first Burn was surreal.

Pysh is moving mountains, with releases on leading melodic techno labels such as Traum, Einmusika and Steyoyoke. This time he comes with a great EP on the Indian imprint @qilla Records! Here we present you the remix of fellow producer Midnight Traffick of his song "Journey" that will be released on June 11th. Midnight Traffick is well on his way to becoming yet another Indian rising star with releases on Qilla Records as well. 

Midnight Traffick's remix starts of with a techy bass and straightforward techno beat, making it very DJ-friendly. Before long, he introduces a set of percussive elements that is part of his sound. The track progresses slowly, with more and more sounds coming into play. The entire piece stays quite minimal and mesmerizing until about halfway where a dissonant synth takes up the attention. From there the track really opens up with multiple synths taking the listener's attention. Finally the track climaxes into a strong breakdown filled with percussion and juicy snares!

After releasing on Renaissance, Choo Choo Records & more in the past, Chris Cargo made a smashing return into the scene after a decade of silence and since his debut appearance with us through the track "Crystal" (part of 'Elements - Volume 2') in 2017, he's gone on to release music on Nick Warren's "The Soundgarden", Paul Thomas' "UV", DJ Zombi's "Beat Boutique", Pena's "Flow Vinyl" & John Johnson's "ICONYC" to name a few, as well as starting up his own imprint - 'If You Wait'.
