MELODIC SERIES #21 | Adjust (BE)

Ventured many years together in the darkest depths of techno, these 2 frequencies collided with an outburst of energy. Equipped with a melodic, rumbling and driving dedication to their passion, their journey began many years ago. It was in 2018 when they took the MUSICASA producers education to pursue their dream. This duo, knowing each other for over a decade, has 1 single goal: to adjust your mind. 2020’s proven to be their first and firm step into pursuing their dream. Hosting a podcast (Adjust (BE) Invites) where they’re inviting numerous DJ’s/Producers to make a signature guest set in these difficult times, being a member of the ‘Underground Kollektiv Radio’ show, performed on livestreams and having a second release in 2021, they’re moving with full force. Their style can be best described als ‘energetic’, ‘no-nonsense’ and ‘emotional’ in a wide range of the techno genre, however they prefer to go head-on full melodic into the deepest and more emotional sides of techno. 

"For this guest mix we've written our known melodic signature story. Our drive, passion and emotions are converted in this single mix. The melodic and emotional tracks resonate with our mindset and how we behave towards other people, the driving tempo is the energy we embody when we're making tracks and mixes. The passion we feel for this genre you can literally 'feel' throughout the mix, the melancholic melodies, the pushing basslines and hyponitzing rhythms, they're all part of our signature style. We've carefully chosen tracks from our friends like Guy Augustin, Ezek, Eleven Of July, Tumzz, Eve and our all time favorite producer VNTM. Emir Kaynak is a Turkish DJ & Producer. With a long history of gigs in some of the best locations in Turkey, playing alongside key names of the industry, the Artist had the desire to take his artist project further and produce what he thought the dancefloors were missing. His growing catalog of Progressive and Melodic music is quite recent, but already features originals and remixes for labels like VIAGE, Inner Shah, Sunset Dreams (Interflow) and Human Resources.

Emir Kaynak prepared a mix for our Melodic Series with his unique taste. Enjoy a journey with deep melodic sounds.

Sterilephobia is a one-head project formed in Wroclaw in 2018 by Jakub Sapka - music producer, DJ and the sound engineer. Sterilephobia is melodic, non-sterile techno journey full of emotions, colorful landscapes and unusual visuals that stimulate your non-sterile imagination. Enjoy this trip through melodic techno interspersed with indie dance bangers, spiced with a pinch of progressive house. The selection is very danceable and lively, encouraging spontaneous fun, which is a characteristic feature of Sterilaphobia's sets.

Tiago Malheiros & Bruno Alves have been avid collectors of records for a long time, and their lives have always been intertwined with the electronic music scene. For long they have been lurking from backstage. But it all changed in 2018, when they decided to pursue music production. Their curiosity for music production and machines quickly became their common main interest. Far away from the ordinary, they are always looking for unique sounds, inspired by the vast and endless universe. Their productions and DJ sets are a synthesis of Space, Energy and Emotion. Every time they play, they invite you on a sonic journey through the cosmos.

"Following the release of Mass Formation Psychosis EP on RF Digital label, we decided to prepare a special set for Melodic Techno Tune's 'Melodic Series'. We want not only to showcase our new record, but also broadcast its important message within. The truth is we live in times of fear. Daily stoked by public health authorities and irresponsibly amplified by mass media. Whether we can regain our collective sanity as a society remains to be seen. MELODIC SERIES #23 | Deep:art & Ysmael Amasis

Simone Mangano is an Italian DJ living in Milan. Since he was a child he has always been attracted to melodic sounds so in 2010 he began his career as a DJ in afternoon parties offering trance music. In 2012, together with another person, he created the M.A.D’S tech house project, releasing the first productions. In 2014 he began a new project called RESONANT mixing tech house sounds with melodies, releasing several Ep and Remixes and performing in different parties both in Italy and abroad as well as publishing several podcasts for the radio show De Party Nacht for the Dutch broadcaster Meer Radio. In 2021 he starts a new solo project called EIDEN, inspired by his trance background, proposing ethereal sounds, he also joins Sounder Academy. This mix was made in Ableton using Push2. An escalation of sound from deep to techno.

This is the sound of celestial journeys and starlit dance floors. Deep Space Melodic House is a subgenre that transcends traditional house music, blending its hypnotic rhythms with the vast, ethereal atmosphere of the cosmos.

Imagine a journey through the dark, silent void between galaxies. This music is the soundtrack. It's built on a foundation of warm, deep kicks and subtle percussive grooves, but the focus is on the breathtaking, emotional landscape created by the synths. Expect lush, atmospheric pads that swell and fade like nebulae, and arpeggiated melodies that shimmer and loop, mimicking the distant twinkle of a thousand stars.

The energy here is not for the club's peak hour but for its most transcendent moments—when the lights are low, the smoke machine is on full blast, and everyone is moving as one. Music was always a passion and an indescribable feeling for both Özkan and Caner and that was
what brought them even close to one another. 7 years ago they started their carrier as professional
Djs & Producers under the name Stableheads. From warm up sets at local Clubs in Antalya
to a gig in Amsterdam during ADE, Stableheads always makes the crowd dance.
In their style, they are growing to be a well know duo in the music industry.
After spending a couple of years of experiencing and experimenting in House and Techno Music in Germany and Turkey, they discovered the most enthusiastic Festivals and Parties around Europe. Stableheads started their journey with local gigs in Antalya , Istanbul and had the chance to share the Decks with Nick Curly after their Den Haag debut in 2017.

Deersky’s Soundteller Records welcomes Sinan Arsan to the label for his debut single ‘Ebonise’. Based in Ankara, the Turkish artist first came to out attention late last year with a release on Stellar Fountain’s Astrowave division. Subsequent offerings on Big Bells, Droid9 South America, Future Avenue and Mistique Music have made for a great 2020 thus far. Now following a contribution to Transensations ‘Transenses II’ collection, Sinan lands on Soundteller with a new single alongside remixes from Kenan Savrun and Nacres.

Already known for his trippy progressive sound, Sinan continues to explore that ethos here with ‘Ebonise’. Groovy and atmospheric in equal measure, it’s charged foundation and glassy clusters immediately grab your attention. Spacey arps and driving percussion add momentum across the first act, as vocal wails bring a spiritual context coming into the break. The centrepiece only enhances the meditative qualities of the track, building tension through subtle modulation and bassy swells, before percussive rides spark a huge drop and exhilarating final act.

Fellow countryman Kenan Savrun returns to Soundteller and provides the first remix. Fresh off releases for Another Life Music and Movement Recordings, the Ankara resident goes all out with a fiery peak time interpretation that really delivers. Layered beats, muscular basslines and a vortex of tripped out audio make this a production to get truly lost in. There are few tracks that capture the magic of what progressive music was nearly 20 years ago but this does that quite successfully. Think John Digweed Delta Heavy Essential Mix and this is not far off from what was resonating so strongly at the time. Massive remix from Kenan.

Rounding out the release and completing this all Turkish affair is Nacres who provides the second and final interpretation. Having appeared on the label’s Vibrant Vibeland #10 collection in May of this year, Nacres has also found a home on Bonzai Records, Deepersense Music and Massive Harmony Records. Now returning to Soundteller for his first remix, Nacres puts his own unique twist on ‘Ebonise’. Sitting as a lovely complement to the original the Istanbul resident takes the edge off just a touch for a floaty yet still incredibly groovy interpretation. Meandering synths add just the right amount of tension as they blanket the chugging rhythms and effervescent textures, before getting washed away into a tranquil break and percussive driven finale. A lovely interpretation from Nacres which caps off this exciting release from Soundteller Records, proving that progressive music is still flourishing in Turkey. Highly recommended.
