MELODIC SERIES #21 | Adjust (BE)

Ventured many years together in the darkest depths of techno, these 2 frequencies collided with an outburst of energy. Equipped with a melodic, rumbling and driving dedication to their passion, their journey began many years ago. It was in 2018 when they took the MUSICASA producers education to pursue their dream. This duo, knowing each other for over a decade, has 1 single goal: to adjust your mind. 2020’s proven to be their first and firm step into pursuing their dream. Hosting a podcast (Adjust (BE) Invites) where they’re inviting numerous DJ’s/Producers to make a signature guest set in these difficult times, being a member of the ‘Underground Kollektiv Radio’ show, performed on livestreams and having a second release in 2021, they’re moving with full force. Their style can be best described als ‘energetic’, ‘no-nonsense’ and ‘emotional’ in a wide range of the techno genre, however they prefer to go head-on full melodic into the deepest and more emotional sides of techno. 

"For this guest mix we've written our known melodic signature story. Our drive, passion and emotions are converted in this single mix. The melodic and emotional tracks resonate with our mindset and how we behave towards other people, the driving tempo is the energy we embody when we're making tracks and mixes. The passion we feel for this genre you can literally 'feel' throughout the mix, the melancholic melodies, the pushing basslines and hyponitzing rhythms, they're all part of our signature style. We've carefully chosen tracks from our friends like Guy Augustin, Ezek, Eleven Of July, Tumzz, Eve and our all time favorite producer VNTM. The journey starts with some uplifting melodic tracks and quickly we push the tempo for a more dark and abstract melodic techno story. Get ready to Adjust your mind."

Emir Kaynak is a Turkish DJ & Producer. With a long history of gigs in some of the best locations in Turkey, playing alongside key names of the industry, the Artist had the desire to take his artist project further and produce what he thought the dancefloors were missing. His growing catalog of Progressive and Melodic music is quite recent, but already features originals and remixes for labels like VIAGE, Inner Shah, Sunset Dreams (Interflow) and Human Resources.

Emir Kaynak prepared a mix for our Melodic Series with his unique taste. Enjoy a journey with deep melodic sounds.

Sterilephobia is a one-head project formed in Wroclaw in 2018 by Jakub Sapka - music producer, DJ and the sound engineer. Sterilephobia is melodic, non-sterile techno journey full of emotions, colorful landscapes and unusual visuals that stimulate your non-sterile imagination. Enjoy this trip through melodic techno interspersed with indie dance bangers, spiced with a pinch of progressive house. The selection is very danceable and lively, encouraging spontaneous fun, which is a characteristic feature of Sterilaphobia's sets.

Tiago Malheiros & Bruno Alves have been avid collectors of records for a long time, and their lives have always been intertwined with the electronic music scene. For long they have been lurking from backstage. But it all changed in 2018, when they decided to pursue music production. Their curiosity for music production and machines quickly became their common main interest. Far away from the ordinary, they are always looking for unique sounds, inspired by the vast and endless universe. Their productions and DJ sets are a synthesis of Space, Energy and Emotion. Every time they play, they invite you on a sonic journey through the cosmos.

"Following the release of Mass Formation Psychosis EP on RF Digital label, we decided to prepare a special set for Melodic Techno Tune's 'Melodic Series'. We want not only to showcase our new record, but also broadcast its important message within. The truth is we live in times of fear. Daily stoked by public health authorities and irresponsibly amplified by mass media. Whether we can regain our collective sanity as a society remains to be seen. MELODIC SERIES #23 | Deep:art & Ysmael Amasis

Simone Mangano is an Italian DJ living in Milan. Since he was a child he has always been attracted to melodic sounds so in 2010 he began his career as a DJ in afternoon parties offering trance music. In 2012, together with another person, he created the M.A.D’S tech house project, releasing the first productions. In 2014 he began a new project called RESONANT mixing tech house sounds with melodies, releasing several Ep and Remixes and performing in different parties both in Italy and abroad as well as publishing several podcasts for the radio show De Party Nacht for the Dutch broadcaster Meer Radio. In 2021 he starts a new solo project called EIDEN, inspired by his trance background, proposing ethereal sounds, he also joins Sounder Academy. This mix was made in Ableton using Push2. An escalation of sound from deep to techno.

Ranj Kaler makes his exciting full release debut with ‘Our One Love’. 

Something of a household name now for his incredible work ethic, it might come as a surprise to know up until 2020, Ranj was just a working DJ in the heart of London content to play other people’s music. But then upheaval - the pandemic - a time that brought sea change to many of us in the music industry. 

For Ranj, a moment to reflect and to learn new skills - production - which quickly became signed releases for Saturo Sounds, 64K and Four Candles’ Keep Thinking. His fanbase grew. New fans included John Digweed and Hernan Cattaneo and from his incredible production style, remixes for Hooj Choons, Liaka Sounds and ARRVL, and bigger and better labels were keen to sign him up. 

Successful collaborations with Norman H on Stripped Digital and Fauxplay on Music To Die For have led to his first solo release of the year, and we are over the moon he’s chosen ASTIR. ‘Our One Love’ is a love note to dance music; an obsession decades in the making distilled into audio. 

In original form, synths soar against a strong percussive bedrock and chunky bass. warm sweeps glisten as icy pads rise in the background revealing intricate sonic detail that glitters in the periphery. Heartfelt and deeply emotional, this is Ranj unencumbered and in full mastery of his skills. 

On remix duties, crowd favourite Silinder makes a welcomed return to the fold honing the emotive elements of the original into his remarkable, unmistakable style, while label head Real Gone Kid takes a break from, uhh, breaks to drop a deep house vibe thick with soul.

We are very excited to bring you this weeks edition of the podcast featuring Greek duo Dizharmonia... One of the true up comers of the new age techno scene who have been setting the world alight. 

Taking inspiration from the modern sounds of techno and old school sounds of progressive house the duo has been able to  create a unique sound. Their tracks aromatised by atmospheric synths and wicked strings, aggressive basslines and tight drums.

PROG CITY 15 Guest Mix By Julie Petrecca ( CANADA )

Grown up in Mainz, Germany, Alex has found his passion for music quite early. Starting with the piano he has decided to swap it for two record players and a mixing console at the age of 15. 
In 2013 Alex has met Marcel and it soon turned out that they are sharing more than just the same employer. The joy and passion for electronical sounds was the reason for starting to engage in music intensely again.

Outside of Frankfurt’s club scene the two DJs got well-established especially on SoundCloud. None other than famous SOLOMUN (DIYNAMIC) has supported the boys and played their track „Darwin“ on big festivals like BPM in Mexico. „Darwin“ was released in March 2017 on the label JEAHMON!

Four Hands first release "Springfield EP" on Hover Mind in July 2019 is just one homage to playful synthesizers. The Remix Version of Springfield by ANMA reached #3 in the Beatport Melodic House & Techno HYPE Charts and #38 in the Beatport Melodic House & Techno Overall Charts. The Springfield EP reached #33 in the Beatport Melodic House & Techno Releases / Alben Charts.

The second release in 2019 has also entered the Beatport Top100. Their track Scorpio on their Redemption EP on ALETHEIA RECORDINGS reached #11 in the Beatport Progressive House HYPE Charts and #50 in the Beatport Progressive House Overall Charts.
The Redemption EP reached #24 in the Beatport Progressive House Releases / Alben Charts.
 
Recently another big project has been launched in April 2019 - VERSPIELT Musik by Four Hands has hosted successfully its first club event on June 21st in Dora Brilliant Frankfurt (Tanzhaus West) with amazing artists like ARTBAT, Musumeci and local starlet Carla Casanova.
 
In 2020 the project VERSPIELT will also become a Record Label based in Frankfurt am Main / Germany. The first EP is called Modulate containing the tracks Modulate and Reminisce and will be out on 13th of March.

Melodic Series #07 - JUSO

Juso is an Italian DJ based in Amsterdam. He combines his deep studies in Physics Engineering and Mathematics with an eternal love for Music, where he finds the same frequencies and mathematical patterns but also an incredibly broader horizon to express himself.  His main core is Melodic Techno and Deep/Progressive House, however he believes the magic of music fulfill an infinite space that has no constraints. Juso's DJ path is still at the beginning, he played in underground italian raves in Toscana where he comes from and in Puglia. He recently played in warehouses parties in London and at Etniko club in Barcelona. His new adventure in Amsterdam is just started.
