Wout Records is pleased to announce the new single release from Dinkis. The Italian producer took on Cervan's Elonquence and presents us with a unique musical perspective on the track. He operates with classic 808 drums and overtone-rich basslines, which gives the track an extra amount of groove. The rhythmic organs create some very melancholic emotions and thus form a close connection to Dinkis album "Ossigeno". Gabriele mainly emphasizes the voices and tends towards playful showmanship: a skillful new version of an already great track.

Definition presents his own creations once again to Definition:music in the form of the stunning 4 track „Progession LP“. Living up to his reputation, the tracks are as engaging as they are addictive and always pushing the envelopes. 

Opening the show on a warm note; „Come Down feat Liu Bei“ delicately teases us as it blooms into a massive blend of smooth synths and titillating percussion. Midway through weíre treated to an elegantly coordinated break-beat, adding a special touch and unfolding a new dimension to the track. 

The title track is up now. Definition projects an electric landscape in which we ride through the night on a steel horse made of pure electricity toward the peak-time rush and unearth ëProgressioní. A solid track throughout, from the first deliberate kick, to the delicate break and beyond. 

„Janus“ brings thick and gritty bass stabs to a driving tech house groove, creating a blend of deep, dark realms with a hot and steamy pressure. Easing into warmer waters, 

2Caught Out“ is vocally supported or rather enriched through the voice of Peter Joseph. A smooth and cuddly but packing groove that pushes straight into your brain never to release you after listening to it for the first time. This track produces happiness, peace and a good dose of bliss my friends! 

„Without Any Doubt“ slowly rises from nothing and transforms itself into a beast of beautiful orchestra of chords and harps. 

Finally, one last vocal track to bring closure to the LP. „This Mystery feat. Jinadu“ is a power ballad that delivers on all fronts and spreads a warm glow with a solid groove.

Pauli has crafted a near seven minute epic, a brooding cut where the deep melodic vibes and tinged with a progressive edge. We happily present our seventh release on Joyfriend! Hacker & Miethig supplies two driving arrangements for the dancefloor. And since it’s the second time we invited friends to provide an EP for our beloved little label we took it on ourselves to craft the accompanying remixes. Paflo, Illy Noize and Philipp Harms share with us their take on “Lehel” and refine the EP into this well-rounded package.

Starting as a straight groover with a hard hitting bassdrum and driving percussions, “Eisbach” revolves around a masterfully deconstructed synth-line into a rather harmonic twist during the third part of the track, delivering a strong feeling of development and telling quite the story on the dancefloor. As we instantly thought about revisiting the piece upon first audition, Eisbach surely offers itself to find its way into numerous sets.
Paflo’s take on Lehel adds some layers to the original, infusing the piece with funk and a certain sense of urgency. Syncopated drums and a variety of additional synth tracks go hand in hand with a steadier arrangement in general.
Taking things slower but maintaining a certain sense of heaviness, Illy Noize’ interpretation of “Lehel” appears to be a more focused take on the material. It features a simple yet very effective drum arrangement upon which thrones a haunting triangle.
Tense arpeggios dominate Philipp Harms’ version of “Lehel”. The evened out development of all elements provides a welcome change in pace for this EP. A clear and fleshed out drum ensemble with certain woodblock hits taking the front seat supports the general flow of this version before the EP finally moves to the original itself that these remixes are based upon.
Atmospheric bits and pieces form the stage for “Lehel”, the second original on this record. Hacker & Miethig’s preference for deconstructing seemingly simple arrangements comes to the fore again, when the main synth’s steadily pumping pattern changes, or rather breaks, in an unforeseen way. Flanked by a swelling arrangement of pads and the ever pushing drums, the piece comes to a close, where harmonic variation again serves as the big payoff.

Last November, we brought back the Four Points concept, which dates all the way back to 2008, and as the name suggests its an EP that consists of 4 distinct talents from 4 corners of the world. Now, we're following that package up with Four Points II, with four fresh new tracks from some top producers from entirely new parts of the world.

Kicking things off is DJ T. with his remix of Sharam & Chance Caspian's 'Morning Glory,' originally from the 2016 album Retroactive. DJ T.'s mix is just what you'd expect from the legendary Berlin DJ. It's bouncy and groovy, a nice builder that falls squarely into house territory. Khainz brings the heat with 'Acrux,' a typically epic techno squelcher from the Luzern-based artist, and he proves once again that his chops in the studio are second-to-none. Miami up-and-comers Wolf Story are up next with 'Time,' which harkens back to the progressive house-meets-vocals sound that is so classic Yoshitoshi. And finally, our main man in Athens CJ Jeff serves up another beautiful vocal track with 'So Far From Home,' which has received the edit treatment from Sharam. This package is diverse and dynamic with no shortage of peak moments. In other words, it's quintessential Yoshi.
