Cleaning up my computer and files I came across many tracks I've done in the past that are useless and horrible. Buuut I found a couple that I felt could work pretty well nowadays. Everyone is playing fast, so let's just go back in time to my hard drive 7 to 10 years ago and enjoy some 105 to 110 bpm tunes. Repetitive, groovy, heavy basslines and a good old snare.

Ackerman's debut EP on Play Pal opens with the high-octane title track, "More & Faster" a dynamic mix of mid-paced percussion, syncopated arpeggios, robotic vocals, and sharp snares.

Next up is "Time Machine," a moody, synth-driven track that offers psychedelic dark grooves, punctuated by stuttering vocals and 303s. Meanwhile, "Can We Rewind Time" stomps forward with a heavy bassline and pulsating sound waves, building to a fiery climax.

Adding depth to the release are label friends and frequent Play Pal contributors Mufti, Leonor and TYU, each bringing their unique stamps to the originals.

Mufti’s rework of "More & Faster" strips back the original, retaining the hypnotic mantra, while adding new layered synth lines that heighten the tension throughout the track. Leonor’s darker take on "Time Machine" introduces a menacing funk, complete with a tempo-slowing breakdown before the latin vocal (a personal addition of his), kicks back in with force.

TYU rounds off Ackerman's kinetic collection with his signature blend of percussive acid bubbling, congas, and 303s, delivering an electrifying finish to the EP.

Blavatsky & Tolley, two seasoned UK producers, have returned to NEIN Records with a brand-new stunning single. Known for their full-of-influence releases on labels like When Disco Goes Wrong and NEIN itself, their collaboration continues to impress. The result of their latest team effort, "Falling", is a masterful homage to the legendary KLF's classic "What Time Is Love?", capturing the essence of its inspiration while delivering a fresh, contemporary sound. The track pulsates with hypnotic beats and an infectious melody, weaving in the iconic elements that made KLF's original a timeless gem. Brazilian producer Niev debuts on Mexican imprint Duro Label with a three-track EP exploring the depths of acid house.

Duro Label proudly announces the release of "Mariokarlos EP," the latest production from Brazilian artist Niev, an emerging force in the electronic scene from Ribeirão Preto who has been making waves in experimental music since 2020.

The EP, consisting of three original tracks, represents a deep dive into acid house territory while maintaining Niev's characteristic essence of blending electronic elements with Brazilian influences. The EP includes the title track "Mariokarlos," followed by "Ciao (Stripped Mix)" and "Wannabe," each exploring different nuances within the genre.

Niev, known for his work with Radio Vitrine and The Last Baba Disco Studios, brings to this release his distinctive musical perspective, shaped between 80's nostalgia and contemporary influences from Russian and Middle Eastern music. His ability to weave traditional and cutting-edge elements is reflected in each of the EP's cuts.

"Mariokarlos EP" marks Niev's debut on Duro Label, solidifying the Mexican imprint's presence in the international house music scene and reinforcing its commitment to innovative sounds and bold proposals.

The label's reference #47 introduces the debut of VAN HUST BAND, the duo formed by Andalusians Lebollet and David Moreno, who, after nearly two decades of friendship and an unbreakable bond with music, have decided to shape their sonic vision into three original tracks that explore the realms of dark disco, synthwave, and nu disco, with acid and EBM nuances.After their first appearance in the Melómana Records compilation under the same project name, VAN HUST BAND gains momentum with this release, solidifying their identity through a solid and energetic production.

To complement the release, the EP includes two high-caliber remixes. On one hand, Fonsi G, a veteran of the Andalusian electronic scene, adds his distinctive touch with a remix that explores the boundaries between deep house and techno, maintaining his characteristic depth and immersive groove. Melomaan Records marks its 50th release with an EP that reinforces its commitment to the dancefloor and cutting-edge sound. The release is led by Díaz Tech, a Mexican producer with over 15 years of experience, known for his exploration of psychedelic, acid-infused, and raw textures. His music blends digital and analog sounds with organic elements including his own vocals creating a fusion between retro and contemporary aesthetics, drawing influences from indie dance, EBM, and techno.

In this new EP, Díaz Tech delivers two original tracks rooted in electro and EBM, characterized by a hypnotic, dark, and highly functional energy designed for the club, yet rich in sonic identity.
