The next release from Melomana Records, reference number 41, brings us a long-awaited EP titled "Equinox" from established Lithuanian producer John Patter. This new work reaffirms his dominance in the label and his continued evolution in the contemporary electronic scene. Composed of four songs,
"Equinox", "Isolation", "Easter" and a remix of "Easter" by Wolg, this EP promises to be a gem for the most demanding club music lovers.

From the first track, "Equinox", Patter immerses us in a deep and vibrant sonic journey. The forceful and aggressive percussions are the pillar of this cut, modulated with grotesque and psychedelic samplers that seem to emerge from the abyssal depths. It is an auditory experience that few manage to explore with such intensity and mastery, and that envelops us in a dark and enveloping environment.

"Isolation" follows the same vein, but adds an extra layer of complexity. The percussion here feels like the feverish gallop of a horse in the middle of the night, propelling us into a frenetic and captivating sonic journey. Rhythmic elements are intertwined with textures and sounds that evoke a sense of isolation and reflection, living up to its title.

"Easter", meanwhile, offers a different perspective within the same soundscape. Although it maintains the characteristic rhythmic power of Patter, it introduces lighter and brighter melodies that contrast with the previous songs. It is a piece
that perfectly balances aggressiveness and luminosity, creating an almost ritualistic atmosphere.

Wolg's remix of "Easter" closes the EP with a flourish. Wolg takes up the main elements of the original song and adds his personal touch, intensifying the more psychedelic and experimental aspects. The result is a hypnotic, explosive reinterpretation that feels both familiar and innovative.

On "Equinox", John Patter not only gives us his infallible formula for the dance floor, but also consolidates his thunderous and powerful sound. He manages to mix the best of the spirit of the 90s with contemporary European influences, creating an avant-garde and magnetic work. This EP is destined to become a smash in the best clubs and festivals, making it clear that the bar for future Melomana Records references remains high.

Madrid based artist and DJ Rey Morales makes his debut EP via Ghosting Corporation under the alias Sounds Of Porn: Moaning, panting, sighing... These are sounds the body makes when pleasure surpasses consciousness. His style combines a hot mix of Dirty Disco, Nasty House and Italo infused sounds produced to generate synthesised orgasms.

Vocals and Acid are the main characters of this album that blends different moods between listening and club, complemented by three exceptional remixes from Berlin’s EBM & guitar maestro Skelesys, Rimini’s Raibano Records headmaster Alberto Melloni and Paris Elektric Bazaar’s sensation, Karla Lynch.

Melómana Records' latest release, reference number 42, is distinguished by the collaboration of two renowned artists from the label, Stockholm Syndrome and Tronik Youth. This release includes two original tracks that blend genres like electro, EBM, dark disco, and new wave among others, characterized by the intensive use of strident synthesizers and a robust and forceful rhythmic base, elements that guarantee their effectiveness on the dance floors.

The original tracks are complemented by three innovative remixes: Gameboyz, Mexican producer TH3OS, and French artist Cate Hortl add new dimensions to the EP's sound. "Viodance," the track that opens the release, stands out with its catchy riff and funk elements, combined with hypnotic vocals and complex arpeggios that transport the listener to another era. "Fascinated" raises the rhythm with a dark disco style bass and an arpeggiated synthesizer line that transports us to futuristic new dimensions of the dance floors.

Gameboyz's remix of "Viodance" incorporates an electro sound with marked percussions and acid sequences that capture the listener's attention from the very first moment. Meanwhile, TH3OS adds a dark, minimal, and techno dimension to the sametrack, using the original arpeggio line to create a sensory journey filled with hypnotic rhythms. Finally, Cate Hortl delivers a standout remix combining powerful bass lines in the style of Gesaffelstein with the original track's synthesizers, maintaining its essence while exploring new sonic territories.

For this 43rd release, we present the collaboration of two influential artists in the national scene. On one side, we have Calystarr, known for his releases on Nein Records and Espacio Cielo; on the other, Cannibal Coconuts, also veteran of the Espacio Cielo family. This combination results in the NEPAL EP, where deep atmospheres merge with dark disco and synthwave elements, producing two original tracks that will undoubtedly make an impact on any dance floor. Both tracks stand out for their hypnotic energy, immersive synth lines, and dark rhythms that maintain a constant tension.
The title track, "Nepal," starts with a funk-infused bassline, which gradually intertwines with hypnotic melodies and acid and cosmic arpeggios, creating an enveloping soundscape. The second track, "Synths from the Moon" delves into darker territories, featuring arpeggiated lines paired with long, sustained string chords that uphold tension throughout the entire composition.
Regarding the remixes, we have two of the key figures from Espacio Cielo: Moo Monster and Parissior. Moo Monster retains the original track "Nepal's" tension but introduces a more disco-oriented bass, compacting the track from the outset and enhancing its astral journey. Parissior, on the other hand, delivers a remix clearly aimed at the dance floor of “Synths of the Moon”, incorporating a techno-leaning bassline and leveraging the acid elements to create a final track worthy of the best dancefloors.
